| OK, so I don't know if you will love me or hate me for this, but I think I have sussed out a way to find all the shorts currently listed in the MAL database. What you do is search google thusly: OK, so I don't know if you will love me or hate me for this, but I think I have sussed out a way to find all the shorts currently listed in the MAL database. What you do is search google with the following text (ignore the link): site:http://myanimelist.net/anime.php?id= "1 min. per episode" And that will give you all the 1 minute shows. then just change the number to 2, 3, etc. through 15 and there you go. But then maybe you would rather pass on this and instead just let a more organic recommendation system fill the list out. edit: Jeez! It took me like 20 tries to get that code to display right. |

| I think the most democratic way is we should do a poll to see what other members think, I it would not be impossible to right every thing down it would just take a very long time. I could make links in the club discription from 1 min to 15, but it would still be a hassle for people to randomly choose something - which was really what my original idea was. Let me give it some thought and anyone else got any ideas how what could be done please tell. |

| I actually think there is a limit to how many relations one a club can have. and if you got that many off 2 min, your definitely going to blow past that. So yeah, a complex question. Maybe 15 of fourm threads entitiled "got a minute," "got two minutes," or something like that with lists inside. Sorry to add complexity to your life and reduce your joy. ;-) edit: An easier thought! Just one thread page with links to all fifteen google searches. That way it will always remain updated as well. Then save the relations for shows that members recommend. |

| Well that would solve the problem - i was thinking of putting it in the club suggestions so people could see it straight away in a couple of columns - I will also think about what the text would be. | All the above mentioned have been added @Jeleinen - just to let you know as there are actually 1000's of shorts - I decided to make the relations list organic - in that members would recommend ones they have seen or discovered - this has a two fold effect, firstly a list that long would be meaningless because of its length - secondly it encourages members participation and allows other members to check them out when the are rec/d. I am working on a way to link shows by their length on the club page- just need to find the time. But thanks for the recs and keep them coming. |
