| Man, those final minutes when Seras Victoria discovered some or all of her comrades in arms mangled like that my jaw dropped to the floor. I knew their survivor % were low, they are normal humans vs vampires but nonetheless it was shocking to see them like that. Hope she avenge all of them... (｀-´)> Your sacrifice would not be in vain! |

Agreed about Anderson. I also agree about Seras being the only relatable character, and in this sense, she carries the show. But on the other hand, I think the character development she received this episode feels kind of contrived/forced. The last time we saw Seras before episode 6, she was still the clumsy, ditzy girl that wasn't so sure of herself and hadn't come to terms with her vampiric abilities. Now in episode 6, she's all of a sudden incredibly confident - enough to take a Zeppelin head on, and much more comfortable with her vampire side. The change was too sudden. I still like her and think she's the best character in the show though. |

| I still feel like the random humor takes away from all of the seriousness this Anime is striving to achieve. It feels like a parody to be honest. The kiss scene was unnecessary and the friendship between them felt quite forced. I liked when she took advantage of her powers to break the illusion, that was pretty cool to see and what really elevated this episode. The major is very uninteresting by the way. |

| Those Geese are all going to die sadly. Integra shouldn't have sent Alucard after that ship in the middle of the fucking ocean where it's not even doing anything. If Alucard was in London things might have happened differently. Or maybe the Vaticans fanatics aka KKK might've given him trouble. |

| Alright, so we start off with a flashback of Maxwell to when he was a child... But apparently he was watched by Anderson...? How does that work? Did I understand that right? How old is Anderson and how old is Maxwell? This whole time I thought Maxwell was the older one? Also, I have to know just what is happening in America at this time. Like the white house is burning, the president is dead, and I don't know if we'll get to see what happened over there in this OVA but it really got me interested! And wtf was that cigar and kiss scene lol I mean sure it was funny to see Integra throw them around like that, but they both felt kinda jarring at least to me. There's also the animation which doesn't look right to me at certain points, especially with Maxwell at the beginning and that last scene with the illusion vampire (don't even remember their name lol) Again, this just feels so off at times. This episode was 3/5 for me :/ |
