Yuji looked so weak in this ep, don't know why they wasted half of the episode back then for a fight with locust trying to show how much stronger he has become.
@LessThanAnimeFan I mean it's really simple to understand lmao.
Yuuji got that much stronger and still got beaten to a pulp which is a simple way to show how strong the antagonists are.

They did the raid fight justice holy shit. That ep was PEAKKKKKKKKKKK. It got made me to rewind some of the scenes many times. Top 1 ep and fight of jjk (so far). Props to Kazuto Arai and Takumi Sunakohara who directed and storyboarded the ep. The storyboard for the ep was amazing and i would say its by far the best storyboard ive seen in jjk. Not to forgot to those staff who worked really hard to produced this amazing ep so thank you

the locust is also nowhere close to Choso who is using blood manipulation - the Kamo clan (top 3 alongside gojo and zenin clans) special technique.

@Ruz69 Yeah, I understand that, just got higher expectations after the fight with locust and all that praise from Mei Mei.

Dude that Blood Manipulation techniques or moves was so dang cool. Sucks that Yuuji got beaten. Then Sukuna shows up and Choso having these memories show up. Only question is. Is it really his own memories or is it someone memory manipulating Choso? Anyways looking forward to the next episode. X3

Really well directed episode. Also has the funniest preview so far. Very relatable. Words like through thorough thought though tough taught would make her go crazy. On a more serious note, I hope that real-life Japanese people start learning the days of the week earlier than high school.

I don't know if it's because I'm unfamiliar with most shonens but, this is the first time that I see an episode which is extremely focused on a fight, without flashbacks and stuff, kudos for that. I may need to rewatch this one, because a lot was happening in that bathroom. I liked the cliffhanger at the end, with Choso going full meme and the girls finding Itadori.

just another Choso fan wanting to leave a comment about how satisfied I was with this episode. Probably my favorite adaptation yet of a fight from the manga, it was so well done!! The lightning, animation, everything! Can't wait to see more future events adapted.

Inumaki might have helped Itadori get through the circus of people doing their rounds on roads, but it only resulted in him meeting Choso eventually. Choso, who wants to see Itadori dead like no other, didn’t even waste a microsecond before launching his piercing blood towards Itadori.

I mean atleast give some time to blink eyes, if not breathe lol. Though have to say, blood manipulation technique might sound like a perfect way to get Anaemia, but in reality it ain’t, as after all Choso was shooting the blood beams at some speed… around the speed of sound, with Itadori knowing no answers whatsoever, except landing a few hits here and there. If wasn’t for Mechamaru, Choso might have overwhelmed Itadori right there right then.

Nice plans and all, with the idea of Itadori facing Choso in the midst of a tap rain shower, and it worked too… to some extent, until Choso shot the ultra condensed blood beam through Itadori’s liver… but man, this guy just never fucking say no, he fucking gave his all… to the point where we literally witnessed A MOVIE in the midst of episode.

Do not remember at all, this fight being something of a show in itself back in the manga, but Mappa knocked everything out of the park here. Might be the best animated episode this season yet.

That split second scene of Sukuna, and then Choso going through the memories. It'll all make sense in some time.

Beautiful screenplay, storyboarding, however you want to put it. This wasn't even just a fight for the sake of showing a fight, but rather how they come out of this fight; specifically Choso. He beat Yuji, but did he really? I forget what exactly those memories were supposed to mean, but for now let's take it as it is as Choso seeing what COULD have been. Which, blends seamlessly into the ED which also, perhaps, shows what could have been.

Great adaptation indeed🙏 Bravo

Am I trippin or did they not include the Yuuji Raid-pose? Typical of Mappa!

Are we getting THAT scene from those 2 girls in the next episode?

I was about to ask, what was that in the end where Choso apparently has memories with Yuji and the other two brothers? I know they don´t exist, but I can´t wait to find the meaning. Btw, did Choso missed the punch on purpose, or did Sukuna make him fail?

I have to say this was the best episode of the season, possibly the best anime episode of the season. And yes I am caught up with One Piece. The direction, storyboard, and way the episode utilized the camera angles was just insanity.

Even though the fight scene never lost pace or momentum it really was one sided, Itadori almost never having the upper hand despite Mechamaru's support, but we already knew that it would play out this way. Nevertheless, it kept me hooked from start to finish!
