His parents could not accept his death so they decided to use a procedure they had been experimenting on for quite a while, to try and bring him back to life. Like a miracle out of a fairy tale, the procedure worked and they boy, was once again alive. Rentaro's parents were sure that their hardships were over and they would be able to return to their normal lives once again. Unfortunately for them though the military was interested in their newly successful procedure to bring back the dead, as something like that would be the exact thing military would need for covert ops. Kids that have died, and were believed to be buried, would be trained to become merciless assassins and work for the higher-ups. But that was not all. The military also too Rentaro from his parents, as it would be too much of a risk to let him leave. The boy along with 100 other, recently dead children, were moved to a secret underground facility and were trained under hard conditions. This program became known as the Blue Rose Program. After 7 years of extreme training only 10 of the kids had survived, including Rentaro. They were all sent out on different missions. Their first mission, their first kill. Only Rentaro and another girl made it back. All others were either killed on the mission or captured and tortured, never to be seen again. Rentero thought it was finally over, but little did he know as the Chief of the program ordered a fight to the death, between the two survivors. Rentaro came out victorious, but victory came at a price. From this point on, Rentaro was exactly what they wanted him to become... A emotionless killing machine! In the 2 years that followed, Rentaro had infiltrated many countries, resulting in a kill count of over 2000 people! He was no more a human. In his eyes the world was already dead, he was just doing his victims a favor. He was already 16 years old, but most of those years were of pain and suffering. He never liked anyone as he could never get along with people, he wouldn’t even get along with his family other than twin sister, although she was hardly ever be home and would come back unexpected she would be the only one who would understand him.... so much that they would be closer than what people would consider a safe family relationship and their parents wouldn’t know what was going on. How is this not overpowered, but mine is? Is it due to the scaling that is based on the character's own action points? At Rank 10, that's basically choosing between 15 damage or a 2-turn stun. I don't see why mine was not allowed. |

| @Nice: Ahh sorry i corrected the mistake there. I wrote that ability for Setsu and instead of saying attack , I said move. It has been corrected. Enemy basically cannot attack for 2 turns, but they can still cure, so its not completely stunt in those 2 turns. |

I opened the door and the first thing I saw was my girlfriend who was bleeding out on the floor. Next to her must've been a robber who tried to rob us. He was stuck to a wall with a knife in his head. I ran to my girlfriend as I tried to stop the bleeding. She then touched my face with her blood stained hands as she said her last words to me. "Honey, I won't make it. I've already lost enough blood and even if you try to get me medical assistance, it won't be enough time for them to get me. So please remember me til the end. I don't care if you end up with another girl, but remember this Shino. I will always love you." Soon after she said than she gave me a kiss that took her last breath. I couldn't bear it, she was my only peace. The police came to investigate the scene. They didn't find me suspicious since I looked like I wasn't the culprit as I curled himself up in a ball crying. The police asked what had happened here and all I said was that a murder happened and I was there to witness my girlfriend die. I had them arrange a funeral, and they did as I told them. I didn't have much friends, nor did my girlfriend. I had no family either so the only people who attended this funeral were my girlfriend's family, friends and co-workers. I stayed at the grave that my girlfriend the longest as I tell myself why I didn't come any sooner. If only I did, she could've been saved. Though it turns out, the assassin was after my head and he wanted to kill me. He had an employer and now I wanted to find him, that's how I ended up here and this guy right here is the employer. *Shino grabs the employer* So, what do you have to say you fucking murderer?! Oh nothing huh? Oh well I'll just make your death as painful as possible. *Shino drags the employer to an open window. End of arc 3 1 year later And I ran,I ran so far away Mathas continued to take care of me.He became like a second dad to me.He was a good person,a retired doctor who used to live with his wife.When I asked him what happened to her he didn't respond.I assumed she died. The event continued to haunt me.I would never forgive him,that nameless monster.And very night I thought of ways to kill him.I would find him,and I would avenge my parents.I guess I'm bad too.I understand that wanting to kill him makes me evil...but it's justified!!The fucker took my life away... |

He wonders how far he can go so he looks for some mob boss to see if they could use him. After all, it would be fun. |
