| Ten years to the day since I finished the original series. The caliber of this first episode was 100% worth the wait. Bleach is back to the cutting edge of battle shounen spectacle. Even the ending montage had me trying my best not to blink. |

| I can't believe I lived long enough to see Bleach continuing again. Hopefully, I'll live long enough for Hunter x Hunter as well. Damn, that remix of Number One + Ichigo & gang being introduced gave me goosebumps! 15:06 So badass! Nice ED/recap. That was enough to refresh most of my memory. The Fullbring arc is the only one I most needed to remember. Unfortunately, they included only a bit of it. |
| Late to the hype train. But better late than never. Absolutely beautiful animation, soundtrack, and great introduction to ramp up the last arc. I was blown away by the high quality production. Great job studio Pierrot! Ichigo's getsuga tenshou still gives me goosebumps. Masakazu Morita and Johnny Yong Bosch both nailed it. This episode had a nice blend of comedy, nostalgia, and epicness. My fav part was Ichigo telling Asquiaro Ebern that he doesn't know who he is and to get off his bed. Then immediately kicks Ebern out of the window haha. What surprised me the most was that Ebern was a quincy. Not an arrancar. But a full blown quincy. And the fact that he tried to steal Ichigo's bankai. Sneaky bastard ha! |

| Wow this was awesome. I've read all of Bleach up until this point (never seen the anime) and watching this might switch me to be anime only for this last arc. |
