| I'll go to my 30th...presuming I have a bishie husband and cool otaku twins in tow (along with my otaku dog, of course). The jocks aged poorly. The geeks/nerds showed up all sexy. Half the class had been divorced. I didn't recognize half the guys because they were 50 - 150 pounds heavier than they were in high school. Most girls were recognizable. People mixed and mingled but wound up spending more time with the people they got along with in high school. The people that didn't like each other in high school still didn't have much to say to each other. Mind you, some of the jerks from high school came up to various geeks and were either insanely polite or outright apologized for their behaviour back then. No dance. Drinks and appies one night, BBQ with alum and their families the following day. |

Nammy said: I doubt I'll go to my reunion... I debated over it until the week of, especially since I didn't have a bishie husband and otaku kids in tow. But I was glad I went. For the most part, everyone aged into nicer people. At least, the ones I spoke to did. Plus, I got this killer dress and haircut that had everyone doing double-takes. :-D As for the one I didn't care too much about before, the feeling was mutual. We made eye contact and promptly looked the other way. Oh, I missed this originally Teiza - I don't think we have any millionaires in our class but the one who would be closest is the one that was in Hollywood for a while (and Bollywood). He came home and set up a company here because he missed home. I suspect Tinseltown lost its glitter after a while too. The next richest would the chuckwagon driver but he wasn't there. |

| 20 years is better. Skip the 10 year, in my opinion. People have grown up enough after 20 years and the people who hurt you back then will be: fatter than you in worse shape than you divorced and actually nice to you because something happened to them to change their life around. |
