| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So, the emo kid is Zeref....I didn't know since I'm behind the anime in reading the manga......so it's a bit surprising. Also, I guess I wasn't paying attention, I don't remember Natsu ever saying that the scarf was given to him by Igneel....and apparently it's protecting him....interesting. Overall, a pretty good episode. |
| I think I love Zeref XD I tend to fall for the emo/sadistic/sensitive anime guys XD Awesome episode as usual. |

Each arc did not have a few people fight and develop. Once Phantom Lord arc hit a lot of characters started to develop. Phantom Lord - introduced a ton of new characters and developed them. Tower of Heaven - pretty much the same as the Phantom Lord arc, but with new characters like Jellal. Fighting Festival - Laxus and Mystogan get developed along with other minor fairy tail characters. Oracion Seis - We get Wendy along with a whole bunch of other characters all of which were involved in fights. Edolas - This arc is obvious, ton of new characters, ton of development. S Class/Zeref arc - We just had the Gajeel x Levy pairing develop, that alone says there's character development, all the pairs have been fighting up to this point. |

| Urgh, this kind of disappointed me. I was hoping this arc would be all about whatever is on the island, not randomly have some generic group of villains run onto the island to wreak havoc. How boring. |

| Levy is developing feelings for Gajeel which seems like a very interesting relationship to me. Besides Evergreen and Elfmen this anime seems to be heading towards a more romantic path. So now we know who Zeref is and i wonder what he will contribute to the series things should be getting interesting now. |

| For an event the anime has built up to, Ultear manipulating Jellal, Dark Grimoire collecting these keys, I find the dark guild finally making their move a little underwhelming. Plus the members of the dark guild look lame. Kind of stupid that some of the losers in the contest stayed but the more powerful ones such as Gildarts and Fried just happened to leave shortly before the big fight just so Fairy Tail will have a tougher time. Still, looking forward to some cool fights and learning how in the world Zeref knows about Natsu. |

| Oh noes! The emo kid is Zeref. That makes...very little sense. I'm gonna wait until arc finishes before ranting. And the big entrance was just so that he could scream death a few times, cry and disappear. Wow. And suddenly Grimoire Hearts are gonna get Zeref from the island for no other reason than his power. Remember that time when they put a lot of effort into setting up the Tower of Heaven arc with backroom talks and hints about things? Yea, we don't get those anymore. And Levy is really forgiving at Gajeel for not having no grudge against him for beating them up and hanging them from a tree FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN THEIR GUILD MASTERS SAID SOMETHING STUPID WHILE DRUNK, but he got beat up a few times so its ok. Except Levy can't bear children. Yea... |

| Omgggg what did they do to Grimoire heart? They're all so ugly! xD Kain Hikaru's all white, Capricorno was expected to be white but has somewhat of a strange color and Zancrow's just ugly. |

| Pretty good episode. I really hope Gajeel and Levy get together, and I love how Natsu has some fashion sense :D The reveal of Zeref's name wasn't surprising (accidentally spoiled his name for myself on another website) but I wish he was in the episode longer. The new "bad guys" seem pretty cool. My favorites are Meldy and Zackthorn (I'm pretty sure I got Meldy right, but I doubt I got the other one right) the pink-haired one and the blonde guy (in case I totally screwed up the name). And Capricorn is a bad guy? Lucy will definitely end up fighting him and probably get his key. | GH designs are kind of unexpected. Other than Ultear, Meredy and Hades everyone looks off. Gajeel/Levy FTW. Too bad Gajeel gets stuck with the small fry... I hoped he would have a much bigger role in this battle. |
