Yes, it is. Give a try. It's definitely worth watching. Especially if you are interested in this show and why is it popular among some anime fans, and you don't mind seeing some trigger inducing themes present in anime.

I watched it last year knowing the ending.

One day I just got curious on how they got to the ending, and I actually hated the show, but found great enjoyment in the ending knowing now how it all went.

You're definitely fine to watch now.

I give it a 2 out of 10, but you may still watch it and come out feeling it impacted on you, it made me feel immense disgust in my stomach and i didn't enjoy it, that being said it definitely made an impression on me, I can admit it's not generic or slop

Memes and hate aside, this anime is "6/10 fine", can be fun depending on taste. It's a bit silly at the start, it develops into a very infuriating but engaging drama and closes into a sort of satisfying and overly edgy ending.
There aren't many plotholes but the writing leaves a lot to be desired, not for it's themes but for the development and lack of attention to detail. The visuals are nice, the sounds and music are fine but are forgetable, acting is good enough, directing is good enough to transmit emotions. The show just doesn't try to say anything, sh¡t happens and that's it.

it is as bad as people made out to be if I was the MC's friend I would probably beat him up and knock some sense into him and why does everyone wants to do it with the mc bro has a wimpy aura, the class rep was the clear best girl until she has to do the same

It's not the best anime out there, which is why I decided to watch it. The screenshots and clips I saw online looked very cute, and I found it hard to believe it could be that bad.

It turned out to be quite interesting. Watch it if you feel like it—no one is forcing you to finish it since it's not the best anime. However, it is pretty exciting, and I ended up watching the whole thing because I was too curious about the ending. (⁠;⁠ŏ⁠﹏⁠ŏ⁠)

The whole time I kept thinking, "What crap am I watching?" but I still excitedly pressed the "next episode" button each time. >.<

The serial is based on the game, with the same name
If you google the game, you will find out
Anyway, being old and having dark humour, both, the serial and game are less know for most of people, that's why is not popular
My suggestion is to watch it, if you like intense romance type serials (the final is not good, prepare yourself for it)
