| I'm so excited for this OVA!!! I'm a manga reader and I thought the parts that were not adapted will just be discarded, and to my biggest surprise, those parts are receiving an adaptation. I know many were kind of disappointed for not seeing more of the high schoolers relationship in the movie, so this kind of makes up for that. |

| When I saw the email for this my immediate thought was “YO DEADASS😳?!?!” I’m so happy they decided to make they’re part a separate thing outside of the movie though. If they included it would’ve been rushed and a bit jumbled considering the run time. |

Now that I think about it, getting their own episode will do it more justice even though I was completely fine with the movie focusing on the Akihiko arc. This really gives me the hope that the manga will get a full adaptation. |

But I'm still happy that Lerche is giving us this and is on the road of potentially adapting the manga fully! |

If it's just what wasn't covered in the movie which is anything before chapter 28, then we have 12 not-adapted chapters, which is still not enough for another season, but we can anticipate it sooner. However, if the OVA is adapting beyond chapter 28, then it'll take more time to get season 2. Who knows, maybe the rest of the manga will be adapted in movies instead of a series continuation, but as long as it gets adapted, I'll be happy. |

| i am hyped but also kinda sad, because this means we will not get a second season for at least 2 or 3 years ;( i was hoping they would release a second season in a year or so with the mafuyama scenes they didn't show in the movie, but they're not doing that. now there is not enough content for season 2, and the current arc in the manga is still ongoing... |
