| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Time for the HDZ48 arc. It’s been really long since Otsu has even been brought up in Gintama. Seems like Kagura got an offer to make an idol unit with Otsu, lol. Because Kagura is definitely idol material, lmao. Shinpachi being delusional about Otsu’s snot reminds me of that episode where him and Kondo were comparing Otsu and Otae in a delusional manner. Gintoki as a producer is hilarious. Sakata P, Shimura *** killed me! Oh god, we got the return of Diamond Perfume XD Lol at them making fun of idols sleeping their way to the top. P Sakata really knows how to get a handshake event going! And we got to see GKB48 before the episode ended. 1.5 chapters adapted, and 3.5 chapters left for this arc. Seems like this arc will be 3 episodes, and the next arc will be 2 episodes. The episode count for this season being 12 episodes seems like its incorrect. Also, animation error: they forgot to add Tsukuyo's stitches on for one split moment (included in screenshots), lol. It'll probably fixed for BDs/DVDs. 4/5 |

| Hilarious episode again. Gintoki abruptly appearing as Sakata P cracked me up so much, especially with the way he acts like he's a professional producer. XDD Them jabs at idols and the industry was really funny. That ending. XD So are we still unsure about the episode count of the episode? |

| Kagura forming an idol unit with Otsu? That just reeks of trouble, as Kagura isn't exactly idol material. Gintoki suddenly becoming a professional producer and the shots taken at idols in this episode were hilarious. |

| I expect Otsu to say memory lost for this arc just like someone. The Ranking group is back to eat more popularity LOL  And there lots more parody of Idol anime and real life japan idol to count.  Random Jojo parody on Booger+Idol theme? 100/10  |

| GALAXY KINGDOM BITCHES 48?! Definitely my favorite episode of the current Gintama season. We saw a few familiar faces we haven't seen for a while- we haven't seen Otsu, Kyubei and Tsukuyo in quite a while since they didn't have any appearances last season. Could they really have picked a worse girl as an idol tho? lmao I'm glad this one's a 2 parter! Can't wait for that JoJo x Gintama collab next week- DIAMOND IS UNSCRATCHABLE XD |

| It was an alright episode, had a few jokes that got a laugh but not much. The only part i really loved was the fake out build up of their backstory only for it to go right back to that old dude also its worth noting, holy shit the quality this episode was bad. |

| what makes me sad is that I saw by chance the raw of the episode before being subtitled and it seems that they exchanged a song when Shima Daisuke appears. Why Crunchyroll? Why do you do this? |
| I didn't get most of the jokes about idols, or whatever they were joking about. It was the weakest episode for me so far from this "arc". It was still nice, nonetheless. At least it's easy to understand sexual innuendos, which are always on spot in Gintama. |

| That group's name GALAXY KINGDOM BITCHES 48 had me dying. Kagura is gorgeous so yeah she'd make a great idol especially in Japan they love fair skin and cute girls like her. Look at the live action version where she's played by the gorgeous Kanna Hashimoto. As expected, Gintoki would take this chance to make money but he failed and Kagura acted as expected. LOL at Tae and her castanet band of weirdos. I love Kyuubei but she's taken the backseat this season and I prefer seeing her in her original get-up. |

| Boi oh boi... This Otsuu-chan related arc really reminds me of one of the funniest arcs in Gintama (Otsuu arc ep 157-163) I instantly get excited when I see that Otae, Tsukuyo, Sacchan, and kyuubei appear as the back band! 10/10 would want to see that band. Also, Kagura with that hairstyle, while she was practicing moves, is the cutest! (Wierd body proportion during those training scenes...) Gintoki must've had a degree in business and law, he's now an idol's producer. |

| Well this episode is not very international friendly, lots of references about local celebrities and whatnot in Japan that I know nothing about. Except when gintoki mentioned Kagura's VA Kugimiya lol and Hanayama Kaoru from Baki. But nevertheless it's still your typical hilarious gintama episode. |
