| Too bad that Okita can't join the fight. About Chizuru's childhood. Was it really Hijikata? I hope they won't leave it as it is. The "bushi akashi" was kinda cute When Kondou tried to commit suicide I was like awww come on! That's so stupid~ =___= The team up of Harada and Shiranui is kinda great. |

| This episode really exceeded expectations. I'm liking Chizuru more and more when she speaks her mind instead of just squeaking out "yes!" The heartfelt talk with Saitou and her vow to Toshi have really put her in a new light. As for the battle, that really fell apart quickly. I think the sound of cannon fire is more fearsome than the edge of any sword. It was really sad when Sano told Kondou that the age of war through courage was over, making it sink in that fighting was hopeless suicide. I was fairly surprised by Chizuru's father making an entrance though. I was sure they were going to reveal him as honest man but it's all the more interesting now. |
