Stop bitching about the beginning of the anime in every episode post please, we get it.
If you really care so much, just skip to episode 19. That episode has some fluffy canon but also is the first preliminary episode to an amazing turn of events that got me hooked on this anime. I don't recommend it though. I didn't skip through the episodes even though at times I was honestly pissed at what the animators were thinking (fucking lambo gets old, etc etc.) Before long, I promise you, you will be begging to spend more time with this anime and the evolving characters and the twisty plot that, once you think you've gotten good enough to predict it, throws you to another loop you would have -never- expected.
I hated the beginning as well, while sometimes I would actually laugh at some of the silly shit, which is unusual for me, I hated Lambo and the "girl" scenes were absolutely dreadful. If you stick through it, you'll love this anime. It took me a week to get through 20 episodes but you'll come to realize that it's very worth it. After dreadging through the first week (It wasn't all that bad, but in comparison to the rest of the anime.. it's terrible) I quickly ended up watching the rest, catching any moment I could between work, school, and partying to watch and I still can't get enough. I watched the entire series this week (I'm about to enter the anime only arc after "choice")
Protips:
don't look up spoilers, don't read posts of episodes you haven't seen yet, etc. etc.
You'll like this, promise. It's a gem I wish I'd discovered earlier.
Also, if you look around on the reborn wiki you'll see some story arcs that are mentioned as fillers.. Typically I NEVER watch fillers but these aren't typical fillers, and I believe the creator even mentioned one of them as Canon so far. It's good stuff, through and through.. Don't skip it! :] |
