Despite the plot holes further cementing themselves the little extra world building lore we get here and there is interesting just a shame we don't get the full history lessons and only snippets (even if they'd be full of biased misinformation.) Elizabeth the 3rd gives us an interesting time frame though and it's kind of like I thought the empire established in "current times" or in the future. That said it's still quite ludicrous, in particular because of the lack of population. Which they do I guess also kind of address here as a reason for them being unable to fully suppress the rebellion. Green Hair/Closed Captions conversations with herself or rather well presumably someone else seem to be getting more interesting, I'd obviously noticed before but nothing too interesting was being said.
Clearly the other voice was implying she liked Lulu, which suggest this other voice is a "person." YO WTF did they just animate Nina masturbating and climaxing to the younger princess, damn didn't expect that, that was so out of the blue and the music downright creepy/sad, so it was either that or she was having a stork or some shit XD but I doubt that. Initially I thought it was drugs or something, but connecting it to her obsession over the princess, clearly being in love with her and especially the movements towards the end and the fairly visible climax there's almost no way it's anything else, also her skirt being on the table and her wiping it down. Just thinking about how the hell they are gonna make this a plot point. She's clearly a side character that's gonna be problematic or even low-key an antagonist or villain at some point, I'm just wondering how they are gonna do that.
Glad to see the softer side of the MC though with his sister. I hope he uses CC as a decoy as well in order to go on the date.
Yes, glad he thought of doing that and using her as a decoy, just hope he will also go on the date.
OH damn, he double f$cked up. First I thought he faked his own death or something but that was supposed to be her dad, I didn't get why she was holding a picture of the MC, but it was just from her wallet it had nothing to do with the scene overall apart from establishing that she now "has seen" a picture of him and might recognize him at some point. Anyway so 1 he left her in the rain and arrived late without telling her before hand he'd be late. And on top of that he killed her dad, which tbf is kind of guilt tripping because if her dad was in the military (which it seemed like) then his dad was following orders to attack a group of rebels thus accepting the possibility of death, it's a bit odd to hold negative feelings over that towards the opposing army. "Well you should have just let them kill you" doesn't make a lot of sense.
Also damn, didn't expect the landslide to actually suffocate people after all they were in giant mechs you'd think they'd be fine for at least a pretty long while.
I think his reaction was the correct one overall, still that's gonna mess him up inside and it's gonna mess up their relationship whenever she finds out he's Zero. Even though personally I think it should mess it up. Cuz again... it's war or essentially war at least, and regardless of her father's personality and her saying he was "gentle" he was clearly not on the "weak side" and he can't seriously be that gentle if he's willing to just gun down anyone including civilians like most people in the Britannia military.
Obviously I could be wrong and he might not be one of them in which case "my bad" but if I remember correctly all of the britannia forces were military guys in mechs only Zero's troops had people outside of mechs. The people that were hit by the landslide were from both sides the rebellion army and the Empire. Either way if my country attacked a rebel group or another country and my father died as a military I'm not gonna be angry or hold a grudge against the people who did it because that makes no sense. If anything I'd be angry at whoever is the root cause of the war which in this case is defenitly Britannia because of the way they treat the country and the people of the country they took over.
Of course I know it's emotional and not everyone can redirect their emotions rationally toward the appropriate target but still, it's a little frustrating knowing that this is gonna be a big problem at some point even though I don't think it's that justified and I certainly think the way she's reacting is hopefully just emotional and not her actual rational thought because it's very naive to simply ask "oh if the freedom fighters are fighting for the weak why do they kill" well obviously the have to, because otherwise they'll be killed by frankly "lackies/pawns" like her dad.
I liked that he met the old man he already knew though and showed him his face. (He's obviously not gonna show the rest willingly because it'll only create trouble, especially if you consider now that Bee Killer girl dislikes Lulu but like Zero, like how now probably his love interest will dislike Zero but like Lulu which is obviously gonna be a plot point, just like the several other plot points they set up or build further upon this episode like his best friend building up to be "the other side of the same coin" they both lost a parent to the war and are now both fighting for technically "the opposite side".
But the last part of the episode was a good twist and ending overall I just don't really like it subjectively even if I know it's good. |
