Great episode. Left off on a cliffhanger. Awesome fight scenes. Cool character design for alter ken.

5 minutes after watching the OP I realized the episode was over. The pain of not being able to binge watch this is unbearable.

I absolutely love Momo and Ken together, they're so cute. But one question, what happened to Ken's wiener :(

Momo is such a badass. When will people leave Ken's banana alone?

Crazy that people just hate this for the sake of hating.

Damn, getting pummeled into the wall like that to get outside the premises is crazy. Lowkey she could've easily died from that. Makes me wonder if the banana organ they're looking for is hers cuz she sure has some balls of steel.

Turbo granny Okarun is so badass yet has a meloncholy sadness surrounding him. I just love his dynamic with Momo. Miss Ayase was very creative with her ghost medium psychic powers. Taking risks and manipulating the placement of the talisman. That flat woods alien stood no chance against them. Can't wait to see Momo's granny take on turbo granny.

Once again it was good, but the pacing was weird. Especially in regards when trying to put tropes in that make the audience feel more connected to the characters, its not bad, just a bit forced.

Another great episode! I love the banter between the two, but also the genuine feelings of friendship that are clearly already there. The supernatural lore is also really nicely handled!

I can't shake the feeling that Okaurun's Turbo Granny form looks like an evil emo version of Senku from Dr. Stone. I know that can't be just a coincidence.

I mean ... there are some empty places which can not be replaced, what Ken lost, is one of them ...

I would've preferred if the flatwoods monster wasn't CGI, but it does add to the weirdness of its design. And the sequence of it burning at the end was cheap looking, with them basically ripping a manga panel and panning down it.

Though, I'm only pointing these things out because overall it was a solid episode, I'm really enjoying the little we have so far and I want Dandadan to be a quality anime.

The burning Flatwoods shot was actually the redraw of the manga, so they did not really rip it from the manga.

This show is incredibly overhyped. It's the next JJK, not the next CSM. In other words, like JJK, it is a show that will be forgotten soon after its completion, a show that will not be remembered for achieving anything beyond itself. Just another shounen that tries to be edgy and innovative without actually innovating.

The only reason why it is worth watching is that it is slightly better than all of the other absolute garbage that is produced today. At least the authors tried to innovate, which is more than can be said for 99% of today's animations.

The second episode was a little less crazy than the first one, and the pacing was somewhat nice!

There were times I was a little bored, but that's probably because I'm used to the hard pacing of the usual 12-episode animes.

The graphics thankfully kept the same level between the first and second episodes (Uzumaki's team could learn a little with this XD), so that makes me happy.

In general, a solid 8.0.

...that was intense. Even if i'm pretty sure i preferred the pilot.

Artstyle, animation etc. etc. look so good, couldn't help but feel something at the part "when we settle all of this you're allowed to stop talking to me again". Momo, come on, did you really wanted to see "Okarun" without you know what? "Momo-san no ecchi!" (semiquote) And at the same time, come on, how can you call her "ugly"?

Too bad it just had to end on a cliffhanger. To appreciate this series more, hopefully, the rest of the main cast will be introduced soon.
