| yeah, that's the main prob with this ep. They wouldn't even have to work if Mugi asked for a discount sooner, or asked her dad to give for free. It's her family's store...They risked someone else buying that guitar...by not getting it right away, though they coulda with Mugi's status. |

| I actually like that Mugi didn't use her status as something to help her get the guitar. Though I know if was for a friend, it's best to do something honestly instead of relying on your status. I've run into it a couple times where I could have used my Dad to get out of police related things. (Traffic violations.) ...But I feel it's wrong to do so. |

| I wonder why Tsumugi didn't do the bargaining the first time they went to the shop.Her slowness reminds me of Ichinose from Clannad. There are a few lesbian undertones in the series but I'm kinda having a small problem with it since they are only around 15 and very childish... No wonder a lot of people on the Free! forum boards are referring this series for the guys... But who am I to judge who a person loves... Anyway, its an okay episode. Not much has happened in the series. It kinda has a slow pace. |

I don't think I could have gotten $500 out of my parents in high school lol :S Still that's a great discount she got, how lucky Mugi's family owns the store :P Not too much to say about this episode, got a bit of a character intro then working part-time jobs. Nice to see the girls out of their uniforms I guess? :P Anyway looks like practice can finally start! Looking forward to hearing some more great music :P |

| Nice followup to the first episode! It's Yui's time to get a guitar so they can practise, but the one she wants is expensive so all of them start working to get the money to buy it, what a team. In the end that would take too long, so Mugi uses her eyebrows power to make the guitar affordable, looks like she's from a rich family and even owns that music store. And with this Yui finally has her guitar! Now we just need to make her play it instead of loving how it looks on her, taking pictures of her with the guitar, and even sleep with it! She sure loves that guitar, good investment I have to say. |
