Why did Higuare have to die damn. Kia's so dumb btw. Alus vs Regnejee coming? With all the equipments he has I wonder how will Regnejee fight him.

Yuno trying to blame it all on Dakai, I mean he did trigger it but like he said they were on their way to do it themselves as they were trying to solve the dungeon.

"The character who seemed to be the most dimensional and interesting in this story has died. All that's left are strange characters that don't make sense, even though a brief history of the characters is provided. But it doesn't make these characters appear more three-dimensional. Displaying poor emotions about the incident and inappropriate character development detracts from the enjoyment of this story in every episode."

I continue to think that there is too much confusion between characters, main plot and subplots, the approach is poorly focused.
Anyway, Mandragora was eliminated from behind!

Before the start of the new Demon King war, Yuno is brought to Dakai, which she has a feud with him for Nagan's Labyrinth City's downfall. But in this new war, he's not interested at all, and Yuno at this point, is powerless to take revenge on him. Needless to say, Mage City has suffered more damage than it's ever been, and it's up to the 6th General Harghent to stop the farce. And their only hope is Alus the Star outwitting Regnejee's wyverns as once a rebel from their group.

At the same time, Elea and Kia trying to find Lana from the bandits, this is their only mission in the midst of this chaos, while silently killing each and every one who hears the World Word. But just when saving Lana was an option, Higuare learns of Kia's Word Arts, which surprisingly kills him while Lana has escaped scot-free. Still though, Kia is adamant on saving her, and the one who actually killed him was Kuze and Nastique, whom still like Kia, will be met with imminent death.

A brutal fight to the death, this war is not for the faint-hearted.

XD why didn't Kia cure that girl with words, she just went to stand watch, it's stupid, her power is too strong and she can do anything, so it will be hard to maintain logic

This show keeps surprising me at every turn, it’s been a while since I’ve had a show do that, I’m absolutely loving this. Say what you want about all the character introductions early on, having those makes all this later stuff a lot more enjoyable when you know what each character is capable of and what they’re about, every time Higuare would show up on screen I know someone is dying lol, but to think it was actually him that went down first is kinda wild. I figured some might die in this war arc, but at the same time I could see them all surviving for the battle royale that’s supposed to take place, but I was pretty surprised to see Higuare go down like that, he absolutely bit off more than he could chew. He was lucky Kia isn’t the murderous type, but what he didn’t know was that Kuze and his guardian angel were right around the corner, and Lana actually got out of there lol, so many turns of events just at the end of this episode.

Now I could be saying all this and Higuare somehow survives, but the show explicitly said he was dead, so if it goes back on that I’ll be a little upset, I did think he was an interesting character and it is a shame to see him go down but I wouldn’t want them to undo his death. Also nice to see Alus again, he showed up at the perfect time, Lithia’s surprise attack is starting to look like a shit show now, Taren might not be as smart as she appeared. I really liked Harghent’s bit as well, mad respect for him, and poor Yuno can’t do anything to back up her proclamation at the moment, I hope to see her be able to do that eventually using some means, she’s in a rough spot rn.

And lastly I just wanted to mention that I recently finished Kenja no Mago, an anime which I gave a 6/10, and its score is just barely lower than this show’s which I currently have at an 8 and I might even go 9 depending on how it ends, it’s kinda insane how that works lol, don’t really understand that, but at the end of the day MAL scores mean nothing so it is what it is, this will be my hidden gem.

Loved the episode, but feel compelled to say something about Kia. I'm not sure I like her whole character premise of her teacher controlling her, and she's just a naive innocent girl being used by the teacher just lying, scheming, and trying to betray and kill Lana. It makes Kia feel like she got no agency, and the teacher just some wimp with no business of being there worse than Yuno. Like Yuno's revenge plot and blaming the wrong people is stupid, but she's actually there out of her own doing, and not really riding off the coat tails of that visitor swordsman. Whereas the teacher is riding off the coat tails of the Kia while manipulating her like some mom trying to ride off the success of their celebrity child. It just feels weird and stupid given all the other players are like assassins and mercenaries. Like it kind of sucks this is how the Mandrake goes out, while being distracted with their BS, he accidently slips on a banana peel and dies from the other guy's guardian angel who was hiding in the shadows for no apparent reason of being there otherwise? IDK.

Anyways, I guess Kia didn't hear the part where Lana told the Mandrake "These two are here to kill me!" because Kia was still like "we got to help Lana!" afterwards. *face palm* Thus the tedious farce of the teacher's charade and Kia's naivety continues.
