| Calm before the storm kind of chapter and right there at the end we get the firing shot. Lot's of dialogue setting things up for the future as well. GS chilling at the bar was a welcome change of pace but sigh...Checking the waitresses behind at a bar even when they are centaur shaped...never change guys. |

| As Goblin Slayer and the rest of the party amps up the low-level adventurers, including the red-haired wizard who still help increase their numbers. Aside from the ass talk, Goblin Slayer and his two mercenaries reminisce about the type of people whom they want to be. The dwarf teaching the wizard rookie, while the Priestess helps a fellow party member, and Cow Girl talks with Goblin Slayer on his future plans. A rather slow episode with goblins attacking at the end, it's goblin slaying time once again soon. |

| I love comfy slice of life GS episodes like this, it reminded me of ep 5 from season 1. I'm assuming we aren't getting the same thing next episode though... |
| The moment I finally got to see goblins, the episode ended... harsh... Looks like they're skipping some important side stories in this episode. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| At the end of the day, Goblin slayer's a normal person too, or atleast he used to be, until the goblin tragedy happened. That real talk between the boys happened to hint towards the same. Knew something was about to happen, as we had an ENTIRE episode without goblin slaying, and indeed something did happen. Waiting good old action next time. |

| Both Goblin Slayer and Cow Girl are trapped in the past and are struggling to move on. The tragedy in the village with the goblins continues to haunt them. Now, the place that holds those nightmares and where their trauma originates from is changing, with new buildings constructed on it. I really enjoyed that scene, as sad as it was. They want to move on, but they can't, not yet. Their routine of GS slaying goblins and CG welcoming him home has gone on for years and years, and has become "comfortable shackles" they can't remove. A defense mechanism, perhaps. As visually represented by the bird in the cage, GS and CG are caged by their pasts and can't escape. The world is moving, while they're stuck in place with their trauma. It's honestly sad, and I feel for them. Sorry if I'm reading too much into it, but the scene and their situations feel that much deeper and tragic than it seems, to me. |
| Haha, that wizard kid got roasted by his fellow adventurers. He keeps having that bratty attitude, but when the game was on, he could only watch at Goblin Slayer slaying goblins. Poor Cow Girl. :( She clearly sees how Goblin Slayer changes, step by step, but also she can't speed up his change of perspective. |
| Never expected to see a physical representation of the "training grounds". That is the legacy of the lightning sword mage girl from the movie. I thought the original one-liner expressing her movements. Ie all we'd gain. Which was done in a reasonable manner. Considering how Goblin Slayer and co gains tertiary intelligence. Of the other adventurer's lives. Its use as a main locale. For the new story driver. Is a plus. Definitely looking forward to more usage of it within this narrative. |

| It's good they're training the youngin's. Otherwise, they'll be massacred like what happened in the 1st season. Rhea girl is cute. Wizard is still arrogant. The boy's night out was nice. Good to see Goblin Slayer being open to others. |

Red haired kid is arrogant, reckless, and cocky. I understand that he wants to kill goblins because of what happened to his sister. But his actions are extremely irresponsible, which could easily get him killed. I can kind of see those other kids forming a party with him, which would benefit him the most if they did. Goblin sharing his childhood dream with his buddies was refreshing to see. Goblin slayer keeps denying farmer girl as his wife but they literally act like a married couple lol |

| Very good episode, it makes the show less empty of characters and personalities, and give us hints of what is going on. Keyword being hint, nothing is shoved in your face except for the goblin slaying part, Cow Girl scene shows it very well, she want him to stop, he can`t yet, she is sad about it. The three men talking also has this, they are not heroes, they are not legends, even though they wished for it. Some people commenting here would probably want for The Lord of The Rings to start at the foot of Mount Doom with one big battle while Frodo and Sam climbed it. No fellowship, no journey, no development, and by God not a single scene of the fellowship camping and talking. That would be 'filler' |

| This episode was chill for the most part, Goblin Slayer chilling with the boys and having a drink, training the kiddos but that ending though, damn goblins are attacking! |
| These episodes are way too short, feels more like 10 minutes than 20 minutes. Was a pretty chill episode for the most part, but now it's time to slay goblins again. |

| That was actually pretty chill and interesting dnd episode, I also hope that Priestess, Rhea, newbie wizard and poop patrol will make a group and do some novice level adventure but that will probably turn out into some goblin mess like right now. |

| The first half of the episode was OKish, the red haired brat was here again, and honestly, he's just as annoying. I also might be a bit biased, since I watched the 1st 2 episodes of this season 1 year ago, so I don't remember perfectly why they were there, but I think I remember enough for this episode. Something about the direction of this new studio doesn't click with me, and I don't know what. Anyways, the 2nd half was much more interesting, since we got Goblin Slayer's hangout with the boys and his talk with the Farm girl. The hangout was rather surprising, because Goblin Slayer opened up quite a lot to those guys, and it seems like he, for the 1st time, can actually hang out with the boys, because he has male friends. His talk with the Farm girl was also important, because it shows why we're still only seeing him slaying goblins, he's clearly a broken person. And more than anything, this anime is going to be his path to accepting his past and being able to move on. In his hangout with the boys we also see that he's actually aware that the Farm girl, and the guild girl might have feelings for him, but he is willingly ignoring them, because he feels broken inside, and isn't ready for any relationship, which makes sense. So overall, although I felt like the episode missed something, I think it was a really important episode for us to be able to understand Goblin Slayer's character more, since this might have been a topic that hasn't been touched for quite some time. The opening also hints for a more personal season, in which Goblin Slayer will come to "heal" a bit, but we'll see. Anyways, curious to see how this goes. Also, I enjoyed the lighter episode for a change! Edit: Forgot to mention on how Goblin Slayer said he wanted to be an adventurer when he was a child, but not the kind of adventurer he is now, which makes you think. |
