| Though this spin-off was never on par with the main series and the movie, I'm still a fan of crimson demons, especially Yunyun. I was expecting that the "explosion theme" played all the way while the explosion spell was cast, but the insert song we got wasn't bad either. |

| Extremely bland show. Megumin is not a main character. Her character always feels like she's putting up a front. She never feels genuine. So I guess that's her real personality. The plot is uninspiring with no scope of genuine intrigue since it's a prequel. The final battle for instance was predictable since we knew nothing's going to happen to Yunyun and Megumin will come save the day. Even seasonal isekai have more substance than what's on display here. The characters lack depth too just like Megumin. |

| Nice ending, knowing that after Megumin struggled to find a niche for her explosion magic after leaving school, and after getting kicked out by so many adventuring parties, she's found the party that's going to let her stay and keep being the explosion specialist she wants to be. |

| Again. Such a huge commotion with Demons and huge explosions yet none of this was addressed nor hinted in KonoSuba's first season. sigh* It is what it is, I guess. Interesting. This spin-off really made me dislike (lowkey hate) Megumin as a character but in contrast, it also made me love YunYun even more. Poor girl doesn't deserve to have such egoist and mean person as her only friend... Because yeah, one thing I particularly didn't like was how the show depicted Megumin and YunYun's relationship as something positive. Megumin was mean to YunYun in almost every episode yet this spin-off tries to sell the idea of them having the best of friendships. Come on... Anyways, pretty bland spin-off overall. It started off decent enough but became progressively underwhelming after they left the Crimson Demon school. Without Kazuma and the others, Megumin is unable to carry a whole show by herself and as a result, everything ends up feeling less funny and more forced. Not to mention that, as lovable as she is, YunYun can't play the "straight man" role like Kazuma does. After all, he's kind of an expert when it comes to dealing with Megumin's bullshit. 5/10 - So... where the hell did Chomusuke go for an entire season? |
| Personally think that it's a shame the MAL average for this show has been on a steady decline the past couple weeks. The time Yunyun got paralyzed alongside the demon was hilarious, that whole confrontation segment where Megumin exposed Yunyun cracked me up a little. Course I feel for Yunyun's struggles, but that scene was comedy gold. I think that a show like this gives you room to look back on OG Konosuba and see how it changes the way we perceive it. Knowing that Megumin is the reason behind the whole Aqua Cult Recruitment Scheme makes me want to take a peek at it again. It may not be the same as Konosuba, but expecting all Konosuba seasons to be a 10/10 may as well be like the One Punch Man fallacy in regards to Season 2. One Punch Man was a one-of-a-kind scenario with everything behind its first season, and while OPM shines in its production values I feel Konosuba's type of comedy is equally as complicated to get right. I still had fun watching this Megumin season. I'll look forward to the next explosion, and rate her attempts in my head. |

| I love the main Konosuba anime series and Megumin is my favourite character and when this got announced I was hyped for it but this was just mid the comedy was nowhere near as good as in the original series and it was pretty boring 6/10 |

| the last part was just perfect! Megumin finally joined Aqua and Kazuma! 5/5. i hope we get a spin-off for Darkness!!! cuz she's the best of them all! |

| Oh... I'm gonna miss this Megumin and Yunyun duo. They were so cute together. Until Season 3 of Konosuba. I can't wait. Yunyun is on her journey and met the person Megumin wanted to meet. Komekko's familiar RIP. You will be missed. Aqua and Kazuma in the end. POG |

| Loved this series, getting to know more about Megumin away from the other 3 adventurers and her relationship with Yunyun. I’d love to see something like this for Darkness cause she’s just so weird 😆 This has got me so fired up for the new season of Konosuba 💥 |

| I wish they picked a different character to follow. She of course has value as a character, but I k n o w these mf are all like "omg loli yesss" and I am not even close to hear for it. I would have loved a darkness or aqua show, that coulda been fire |
| This was more or less on par with the main series for me. Pretty much solidified why Megumin is the best girl for me, not that the bar is high, but still. Loved the explosion OST; probably one of the best things to come out of this show. |

| This was a nice side story, And yea, it pretty much solidified that Yunyun is one of the best side character that deserve to be one of the main character. But it did ended as I thought from back in episode 1, Megu joins the SUS party. . I actually want to see a Side story for Darkness, we only got a glimpse of her appearance, but I wonder what she was doing the entire time before she also joined the SUS party. ___ ___ ___ Poor demon guy, he's actually a pretty nice guy. They could probably have just talked with him to solve things. But I guess this is the usual Demon stereotyping and criminalization that all Demons are bad no matter what... (and it's been proven in the main series, there are good Demons too, aka [ WIZ ] |

| Probably the most unnecessary prequel that I've seen. Would be nice if it contained jokes, because you know it's supposed to be a comedy but I laughed like 2 times in this whole season. The last episode is pretty good but overall forgettable. Quite disappointing |

| fun ride overall, if it were a standalone it does real well. sadly this is canon as its said to also be in the manga and novels, and it must be compared to the 2 previous seasons, which it barely can even stand beside em while i did have fun watching it overall, i felt that megumin isnt that interesting. yunyun had a much better char dev than megumin. we dont really see meg growing up darkness was a meh char in S1, but IMHO she stole the show in S2. we get to see more of her antics, some char dev, and a great performance. IDK if it was the writer, the char chem, or the VA but it certainly had way more impact than this spinoff |
