People do be hating on Franxx for no reason lmaoo. biggest stoopid reasons are its initial hype and the final villain. Those people are the ones who be hating it on their lives xd. The show was great for its time, and needs less hate. Zero two is one of the biggest anime mascots.

Nothing groundbreaking, just another anime which is trying to be unique in its own way.

Nothing wrong with fan service as long as it’s executed probably but yeah bingo that super Mecca theme deserted land hiatus in underground make very much left to be desired the only thing that stands out is the characters and how they convey their emotions if they lacked in that department even just slightly it would be a huge flop also not THAT much suspenseful and tense scenes only scenes that contain such was when the was fighting the 9s and the leader was elegant

I’ll surmise it for you mech genre in general is mid because it takes away from the protagonist and instead of seeing growth predominantly in him himself it’s inside some bulky tin can also the premise of the plot uses romance as its padding heavily if this department lacked it would be substandard so adding all these factors amongst others brings it down a lot of people also don’t like the fan service but their are just being chronically prejudice for inexplicably reason other than I just don’t like seeing naked people like a child buttt that may be a reason why people brought it down

I watched and finished it only because people kept talking about it. I did not like it, honestly any part of it. It got more ridiculous as it went on. Not sure why it’s so hyped up.

After rewatching it after 5 years I still enjoyed it and loved what it did. Besides that ending, I still find this anime enjoyable to watch, not a masterpiece by no means, but it's a good watch.

Good starter anime since only 24 episodes. But it ended horribly. Story was a sex spoof of evangelion. Waifus were notable. But I don't think anyone remembers this show for much now except bad ending, zero two, and the fat guy getting cucked
