| Oh.. the war over the fame has started. Don't know why Ketil is wasting his manpower in the war which he could instead use for a new start as he could never win against Canute's force. Thorgil is going to die, maybe, basically attacking the king after he has noticed you is not the smartest play. |

| 3.5/5 Another decent episode even though some of the plot beats felt choppy Kettil is galvanising his farm men to fight which they obviously agree to. Both Snake & Thorfinn realise what's happening & coming. The reunion between Thorfinn & Lief was a bit drab & outta nowhere imo. Patter is a good person and I just wanted to mention that fact. Canute's forces arrive with a bang The arrival sequence was also not eye-catching either. Maybe it was as this drab in the manga too. Either way, Kettil gets cocky and throws men at the strong guard of canute. Snake perfectly assess the situation and is calm throughout even suggesting his men the way out. Meanwhile, the retainers are fodder whilst Thorfinn & Einar try to escape with the injured Arnhed. The Gardar & Arnhed sequence was probably the highlight of the episode for me. Beautiful shot compositions with an expulsive Ost to pair with. Very nice!!! The episode ends with Thorgil ready to assault while Olmar escapes ~~ |

| The reunion between Leif and Thorfinn was really touching and made me feel so happy. I was glad that Leif got to see how much Thorfinn has changed. Unfortunately, they couldn't celebrate more because of their difficult situation, which made the encounter feel bittersweet. Learning that "Iron Fist Ketil" was a real historical figure and had a connection to Snake adds an intriguing element to the story. It's fascinating to think about the kind of training Snake received from someone like Ketil. Ketil, on the other hand, doesn't seem very wise or discerning. His army of amateurs seems destined for a quick and definitive defeat. I also doubt Thorgil's ability to even land a hit on the formidable Canute, despite his experience. It seems like his arrogance might be his downfall. In the midst of all this uncertainty, Snake stands out as someone who is rational and sharp-minded. I really hope he survives because he has been crucial in navigating the challenges they face. The situation Arnheid is in is really worrying and sad. I have a feeling that the next episode will be quite emotional and will make me very sad. |
| Ehh, so Thorfinn and Leif's reunion really had to happen off-screen. That sucks, but oh well. Very nice and accurate depiction of naval landing performed by elite Norse warriors. Thorgil, what a chad. He is a true son of Nordland. I wonder what's gonna happen next. I can't imagine Canute defeating him in a fair duel. |

| Thorfinn and Lief have finally met. Snake knew about Ketil's fake "Iron Fist" persona but chose not to tell anyone. He was the student of the actual Iron Fist. Doesn't seem like Arnheid will make it. Her condition doesn't seem to get better. Ketil and Thorgil have convinced the farm workers to join this battle. 350 is a pretty good number but most of them are fodder who are getting shredded so it doesn't really matter. Thorgil's sneak attack might come in clutch. But I hardly believe that Canute will be taken by surprise or even die since he's a very important character. Thorgil might disrupt the formation though. That might give the peasant warriors to break through the Jomsvikings line. |

| Canute forces have experience in battle, something Ketil people lack. Are you freaking kidding, my dude just took the name? That’s insane. Did Canute forgot to bring Thorkell, he would’ve been more than enough to handle half of these people lol Oh no I think, she’s dying too. My girl Arnheid could never be happy. Her story is extremely heartbreaking. Thorgil, staying quiet would be a better idea. |

| Also here to ask if they skipped over the Thorfinn Leif reunion scene.. that was disappointing. |

| For a moment I thought Thorgil wants to betray his father when reporting the numbers, but it seems he's just bloodlusty for Canute. Hope he actually kills him to make this battle more even. |
| THe Jomsviking and the royal Thegn are together to absolutely annihilate the warriors wannabe farmers. Yeah they got no chance, the strongest fighter in the farm is Thorgill, Snake and Thorifnn and since Thorfinn doesn't want to engage in the battle,e the're really is only 2 competent fighters on Ketil's side. |

| Ngl the idea of Olmar of all people delivering the final checkmate is so ridiculously out there that I'm kinda rooting for him. And man, wish the Thorfinn squad they could've taken Pater along with them. Dude was chill. |
