| Even though this has assassin themes, it was pretty lighthearted. Episode takes around Christmas time and that main protagonist Kazuki seems like a womanizer lol The setting is pretty normal from what's shown. Character personalities are fun to watch in particular with Miri since she behaves exactly how you'd expect a kid to behave. Miri kinda reminds me of Anya from Spy x Family. Kazuki in that santa outfit looks priceless. |

| Pretty slick premiere, as expected of P.A. Works and their originals. Hopefully this is in-house director Yoshiyuki Asai's redemption after the failed directorial attempts of Jun Maeda's works of Charlotte and Kamisama ni Hatta Hi, and Nitroplus's Vio Shimokura after the wonky Tokyo 24-ku. Also, if this isn't said enough, it gives the mix between Spy x Family and Kumichou Musume a.k.a Yazuka Babysitting vibes, plus Akiba Maid War's action. The contractual duo assassins: the blonde-haired Kazuki Kurusu and black-slick-haired Rei Suwa (which looked like the typical shut-in NEET) lived quite the ambiguous life, which this serves as a flashback before the buddies were set-up that way. For Kazuki, he's quite the person: once a married man with his ex-wife and their expecting child, but also a gambler and a woman magnet. And for Rei, a man of few words. The Christmas Eve mission goes like clockwork, but this unassuming girl (Miri Unasaka) who's charmed by the Christmas festivity while looking for something, spots Kazuki's Christmas cake, and unceremoniously just joins him along in this job. Miri, obviously loving the cake, requests Kazuki to bring her to her dad, and the plan goes in smoke if she just runs around creating havoc. Thereafter gatecrashing an actual Christmas party to find their target couple to eliminate, plus get the aforementioned child out of danger. The tale of 2 contract assassins becoming daddies plus a girl for babysitting duties, this will be quite the wild ride knowing that she's connected to Kazuki. |

| They probably meant Christmas rip-off special, my man got finessed. "I'm Miri, are you my papa?" had me weak. I loved how hilariously cute the entire situation was. Kazuki played along nicely without knowing about the pics that would doom his ass to take care of a freshly fatherless child, lmao. Oops. I dunno about this becoming as good as Spy x Family, but I hope it turns out to be one of the best new releases this season. |

| Look I don't think guards would let pass a small kid through the entrance of a lavish hotel just like that. They went proper introduction with our main male leads who also happen to be that trendy thing in the town lately, SPY. Also we ain't playing a father-daughter skit this time around as there's no need to.. Miri actually found her father in the end lol. |

| The first episode had everything I love in a good show: a fair balance between lighthearted and serious storytelling, developed characters and promising dynamics between them, fun comedy and banter, engaging gunfight action, cool visuals, a fitting banger OST... I haven't seen an anime this catered towards my tastes since Great Pretender and I'm so hyped to see where it'll go!!! I have a pretty poor history with P.A. Works originals, but this seems like a sweeeeet promise of redemption. |

| Aww... that was such a sweet start to the show. I adore Miri already and both the guys as well. Both of them are badass. And... wait, is she actually his daughter? LOL. We'll see it in the next episode. I'm confused or maybe she's the daughter of the guy they killed. Loved the start tho. Best daughter of the season? Edit: Nvm, they actually killed her father by accident but such an adorable child doesn't deserve a father that was ready to take her hostage. The Bastard deserved what he got. She has a better father now and two of them. |

| Sign me up for another PA Works original. A lot to like in this first episode. Kind of disappointed that they didn't keep the cat. Maybe the kid will find it later and bring it home. This family needs a pet 😻 !!! |
| really enjoyed akiba maid sensou last season so I have high hopes for this one :) I was surprised to see that rei is a hikikomori. miri's very cute and it's funny to see that she has no concept of the danger she's in - tho hopefully that doesn't get played for drama later on, I don't want her actually getting hurt! |
| For me it's already way better than the overrated Soy x Family. Good stakes from both the minions and the main protagonists (no BS of no one dying), pretty good action scenes (that bike chase was pretty good, although it could had been better with more actual traffic) a fun odd couple (a shut in and a womanizer) and best of all a smol bundle of pure joy (didn't expect mirin to be so darn adorable) Getting Kina Hino to do Mirin's voice was pure gold, she did a great voicing younger characters like Fa from RPG Fudosan or Fuwa from Star twinkle. Not to mention her actions do feel like a real kid, not just a walking meme doing reaction faces. My only pet peeve is the very very convenient writing on Mirin actually finding her dad while she was alone in the big city. But I'm expecting some major explanation in the future episodes for this convenient outcome. |

| this is gonna be really good. it was not what i expected. LOVE the VA's, and the bike scene. The kid's voice is a bit too much for me, too loud and uhm, screechy? Also did not expect this much, hm, overall, sexuality. Not hating it, just suprised. Show is more adult then i expected. Super excited for more. |

| The next Spy X Family, people call this, and they might be right, to an extent, but putting aside those comparisons, the start of this show was quite amusing, with the character dynamics being rather interesting, with Kazuki and Rei up to their shenanigans living together. As for Miri, she was entertaining, though it's difficult to understand how she can wander around unscathed. One gripe I do have so far is the music. I get they're trying to keep a more casual tone with the series, but in the fight scenes, the music direction just didn't really sit right with me, didn't feel any sort of tension, though perhaps that isn't what the series is going for. You know what the soundtrack reminded me of though, the Sunshine Airport music in Mario Kart 8. Overall, a decent start, looking forward to what craziness P.A. Works has cooked up this time. |
| Show is no where near SxF or even Yakuza Babysitters. First episode was okay at best. The only interesting thing at this moment is Kazuki's backstory. Weird place to leave a cat but whatever. |

| The only thing that confused me a bit is her father looks nearly identical to Kazuki. So at first I thought he was her actual father. It's mainly the earrings and the slightly different hair cut that differentiates them, otherwise they could be identical twins lmao. |
