Not to go on a whole essay worth of words but I think saying Bakugou hated Deku is strong. Obviously at the beginning Bkg had negative feelings towards Deku because he didn't know how to accept or understand Deku's perspective as someone who had no powers yet took on more burden then he should be allowed aka the Sludge villain, getting accepted into UA, All Might taking him on as his successor etc. And this is said in Bkg speech in this episode:

"He just deep down, he doesn't take himself into account, y'know? He's always been like that. And now that he can do so much more..." "It makes me wanna keep him at arm's length"

There's also subtle forshadowing that the anime cuts from the manga of Bakugou being worried. Biggest two that come to mind is after the Nighteye death at the dorm (163) and the talk with the Pussycat's after the Culture Festival (184) > Bakugou also following Deku to go after Shigiraki at the beginning of the season too<. I def think you'd need to read the manga twice to pick up on these and they make sense since Bakugou's character path doesn't outwardly change until after the events that happen in this chapter/episode. However the big shift was after KvsD2 which I do think should've alleviated people from thinking Bakugou hated Deku considering what he says at the end and wants Deku to be at his best so they can work off each other.

No way people think that today's episode was good. You couldn't feel the same impact as in the manga. The actions of Deku were great, but Bones couldn't capture it at all. Animation felt like a a slideshow most of the time where they leave the impact as a still frame. Or show the sky whenever Deku punches Shigaraki. The soundtrack was a banger though, but you could just read the manga at this point. This will go down just the same as the previous season. First half has a decent to good adaptation and the later have will be completely butchered.

Shigaraki vs Deku feels like a kid's friendly fight in the anime.

for real man, can some one specify the manga chapter of this episode?

I thought Aizawa Sensei was done for when he got shot but he came prepared ready to risk it all by cutting his own leg off, he’s definitely a great role model for his students. Shigaraki still pushed hard to get him out of commission though so he’s inactive right now.

Things are still looking rough for our heroes, with the Nomu still running rampant along with Gigantomachia. They need a huge trump card to turn the tables….

Deku really shows what he’s made of this episode, taking over the fight by himself, despite damaging his body more. But c’mon, Shigaraki is just a tank.

I thought that final attack was gonna work but Endeavor and….KACCHAN!!? got hurt instead

What a change in character for Kacchan to actually come so far as to save Deku!! He earned more respect in my book.

Now we get more One for All and All for One next episode

I'm still pretty disconnected from the series overall, i think the damage is done in that department i just do not have any real strong attachment to anyone anymore, but these past 2 episodes have been the closest ive felt to that initial rush of entering the series in its first 2 and a half seasons, it felt like for the first time in a very long time there was actually thematic substance to the action and character relationships.

The very final moment would have impact if this wasn't a series that seems absolutely terrified to kill off anyone remotely of importance so its blatantly obvious Bakugo is fine, I'll be absolutely shocked if even a single person partaking in this fight dies which I dont think it needs to have any, but if your gonna pull this fake out stuff then you really just kind of draw attention to it and its actually causing the effect of me wishing they'd at least have the balls to do idunno like Gran torino or Aizawa or something but I'm so sure they aint doing even that.

Nice to see Bakugou being a normal friend for once. I was happy to see that. Also, Deku unlocked another quirk which we were waiting and it was pretty nice to see it take such shape. Shigaraki is such a menace. This episode overall was quite intense.

Afro Deku was so hilarious to me. LMAO

The episode was great. The fight between Deku and Shigaraki was kind of underwhelming, considering that they didn't go all out with the animation. This was supposed to be one of the best fights in the My Hero saga, but it didn't get the justice it deserved with the over-repetitive stills and mediocre animation.

Insane how this episode even started. Without hesitating any second Aizawa cuts his leg off, just to be able to keep his quirk going on Shigaraki. What a badass. If Midoriya used his whip just a millisecond later, Shigaraki would've ripped Aizawa's whole face off. I was also glad Todoroki appeared as support.

In the meantime we got to see the chaos Gigantomachia is already leaving behind. From what was to hear in the news countless cities will get destroyed in his path, so a mass evacuation got recommended. I can't blame Momo and all the other UA students to feel depressed. In their eyes they couldn't do anything to help the pro heroes and just got protected like usually.

The flashback of Midoriya practicing his black whip + floating quirk togehter with Uraraka, Tsuyu, Sero and not forget Bakugo was nice to see. No wonder he got so much better at controlling them. More importantly and also the highlight of this episode, was the conversation Bakugo had with All Might. We already saw a big change in Bakugo's character before, but this was the breakthrough which made him finally understand Midoriya's character and accept him as a friend. Even when Bakugo bullied him in the past, Midoriya never showed any sort of "hate" towards him. So I sincerely hope that both of them get the chance to talk with each other in the future.

Taking a look at Midoriya's arms it's unbelievable that he's still launching punches at Shigaraki. Unfortunately as he said before, if he doesn't stop Shigaraki right now, who will? I also never knew I needed to see a Bakugo x Todoroki x Endeavor team up. Endeavor's Prominence Burn was incredible, turned Shigaraki into a crisp and he's still able to counterattack? What did All for One do? Bakugo was the real MVP in this episode. Without even thinking he saved Midoriya's life. Please anime god, let him live. One thing is sure. Midoriya will be even more pissed as a already was before.

What a crazy season. I can't believe we still have another 16 episodes ahead of us.

This episode was a 10/10 for me. The whole series slowly built up to this moment, where both Midoriya and Bakugo have now reached an inflection point in their respective character arcs. Horikoshi has always made it a point to contrast the opposite hero traits that Midoriya and Bakugo possessed, with Midoriya always wanting to save those in trouble and Bakugo always being fixated on victory. This entire episode is a culmination of Midoriya and Bakugo slowly learning the two traits they lacked from each other. And don't even get me started on the OST. Just wow!

for a fight that's supposed to be a highlight, the animation, the flashbacks, and the sequence is kinda whack.

They're adding random characters like the black hero whose power I don't even know because he's irrelevant to add random quicks like "Mr. Aiwaza!" and "We shouldn't let them help, they're kids! (about bakugo and todoroki lifting and cooling the fire guy)" and "i already recognized Deku as a hero long ago"

It's like useless exposition with no value that takes up valuable screentime. There could have been so many better uses of the time i.e. bakugo realizes making deku throw shigeraki to them using black whip won't work. The intesity of the fight is too high and he's deeply upset about what happened to his sensei. They'll have to wait for the opportune moment.

just too many issues with what was supposed to be a climactic fight. I am pretty disappointed.

The animation was good tho

Whoa! That was full of tension. Deku loses control of his body the more he uses the might power. This makes me want Eri to be by his side. Bakugo seems to have a constant conflict over what to do. Bakugo's rising seems to be an infuriating factor for Deku. The preview shows the previous users taking control. Wonder what will happen.

I almost always forget the opening is performed by "Super Beaver," and I almost always laugh.

Just like Sasuke and Naruto vs Haku. I was wondering why this episode was called "Katsuki Bakugo: Rising."

If nothing else, next episode looks like it should be interesting. The main thing I'm worried about now is that Deku will end up getting nerfed again. It seems to keep coming back to how his body can't withstand his powers.

"...Is your mother worried? Would you like us to assign someone to worry your mother?"

This might be the best episode of MHA to date. So much is built and jam-packed into this episode. The bakugo all might talk is so interesting and well done and makes the ending so impactful. Action set pieces are on point and float is such a sick ability. So excited for next ep after that cliffhanger!

Kill of some mfs, this season is such a step up from the rest. Things are happening, and they are happening fast. I was really worried that this was gonna be another naruto with 6 episodes of filler for each episode that moved the story forward. And worse yet have those episodes take twice as long as they need to do it.
