| Holy sh*t, Ayanokouji letting Ryuuen land some hits on him just to see if he can get a taste of this feeling called "fear". But of course, this man doesn't feel anything. Ryuuen, on the other hand, while also being a man who had no fear, felt fear at his last moments of consciousness. I believe it was not because he was getting beat up to kingdom come, or that he lost, but that he realized that he was up against a man who felt nothing all this time. And at the end, we see Ayanokouji taking good care of one his tools. Can't wait to reach volume 7 (just started volume 3), and to see if this scene goes even harder. I imagine it does, in terms of Ayanokouji's taunts and other means of psychological warfare. But while we know more about Ayanokouji through his thoughts in the LN's, the anime paints him more of a cold-hearted, emotionless beast; so maybe that works more in this episode's favour? Or perhaps the author is still playing with his readers in the earlier volumes by making you think that Ayanokouji is just some other guy who just MIGHT be kind of smart. I guess that's how it was in the anime after all, we don't know who he truly is until the very end of the last episode of S1. Anyway, I'm really excited to see if they did justice to this scene in the LN. And if I were to guess, I'd say that they nailed it; or at least made it satisfactory enough. |

| Best episode of the season as many others said although I think the animation during the fight was a bit weird, it still did the job nonetheless. It was refreshing seing a more "realistic" fight without triple back flips and jump kicks and stuff. I got goose bumps when the MC said "what are you saying" while being 100% emotionless when he stopped beating ryuuen's face for a few seconds, truely showed how superior he is. After that there were a couple of fail mouth wise (the moutj kept moving after the MC finished talking) which was a bit unfortunate but hey this was still overall an awesome experience! |

| I wish they would have stuck to the Light Novel and made the fight happen on the rooftop in day light. It bothered me that they fought in a dimmed room. The animation was very decent for a non battle series, but nowhere near as good as I hoped for. I was hoping for Kakashi vs Obito fight choreography and fluidity. But that was too much to ask for and unrealistic in the first place. But hey, you can at least dream, right? |

| PEAK EPISODE 11 episodes to build up (and most are outsourced) for this episode. Totally worth it that we sacrifice episode 5 for this one. FUCK HELL! I can't get hard enough for the fighting! In my opinion, there are still some bad frames and the repeating punches from Kiyo to Ryuen are too weak, but at this point it would be nitpicking tbh 11/10 for me! BEST EPISODE! |
