| I was crying a lot during last 2 episodes, but anime is still not that deep. Aside from being an emotional tearjerker with high value production, it's just another anti-war story without much depth. SnK is better in 90% of aspects, even the OST. |

| Seeing Lena overflow with tears when she met Shin and the others and knowing that they survived after everything is so heart warming, I loved this anime adaptation so much and the tree months wait to see this last two episodes was definitely worth it. The OST when Lena met Shin and the others was also perfect, I actually like the OST of the series, it's just perfect. Also credits to A-1 Pictures on this anime adaptation, you can nit-pick on some scenes in the LN but they faithfully adapted the first 3 volumes of the light novel. I say this is if not the best, one of their best work so far. (I have a love-hate relationship with A-1 Pictures). There will be a season 2 announcement right? Right? Right? Don't leave us hanging here A-1 Pictures, there are so much of the light novel to cover the story. There will be an event next month to commemorate the 1st year anniversary of the anime, if there are early plans for a season 2, it will most likely be announced there. |

| The reunion scene is perfectly adapted with that amazing song accompanied. Each scenes enhances that reunion greatly with great directing. And this episode like previous one it has parallels to past episodes and easter eggs. Which is nice to see the details to it. Overall best conclusion of 86 anime and craving for more. The title drop at the end is amazing btw |

OHHHHHHHB MYYYYYYYGIDODODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDSDDDDDDDN!!!!$!#!#!!#!$!$!?_?_?)#(#++$ so many gibberish today from me. way more than the usual im sorry lads but its just that i cant describe whatever the fuck i went through while watching that part 2 was great. even though we waited 2 months for this 2 last eps id say it was WORTH IT. great work to the author for making such an amazing story, to everyone who made this adaptation possible and delivering it in a spectacular way. aoty for me (this could just be on impulse BUT I SAID IT!!) |

| I was trying to hold back my laugh starting from the scene where Lena was given the roster of men that she is going to be assigned to. Seems that the Giad Federacy officer is a fan of lovely reunions, even intended to censor some names to make it a surprise for her hehe. The 86 already knew about it while Lena really has no idea lmao. Well, it's a heart-warming surprise for her and that scene was indeed touching. Hell, really the last 2 episodes are worth the wait. This final ep leaves your heart warm and fuzzy. A very satisfying end even if there's no another season. But it would be best if there'll be. Anw, truly magnificent! |

| There are many anime that make you cry with sadness, I can include "86". However, the list of animes that can make you cry with happiness is very, very small, I can also include "86" here. A perfect ending, there is no aspect with which I can say that it could be better, voices, animation, script, music... everything perfect! Excellent episode for one of the most emotional encounters I've ever seen in anime and closure of one of the best animes I've ever seen, without a doubt. |
| One of the best series I have ever seen. And it was so worth it waiting that long for the production issues. I sincerely thank A-1, and everyone involved in the production of this masterpiece, for not just rushing for the sake of getting a product out there, but actually taking the time to make this piece of art. The first half was really beautiful, seeing Shin going slowly with finding a path for his life. Even their "I'm home" was night. That's the best they can do for now, President, but that's amazing. They think of it as "home". Glad that Marcel apologised, and that Ernst's sister knew that Shin was a friend of her brother. Glad to see things from Lena's perspective too. Seeing the Republic in such a state... unbelievable. And even after all that, most of the Alba are still very racist, even to Federacy soldiers. Ungrateful. Those 86ers should just definitely leave. I bet most of them are taking Federacy citizenship. I do hope some of them join Lena in her fight. She seemed to have a great friendship with that 86 girl commander. And it seems Annette isn't holding herself back anymore. She's fully fighting for what she believes in too. And I'm glad Lena isn't alone (of course she's got Annette) but there are people from San Magnolia who believe in the same thing. We haven't spent much time with her crew, but I sure hope we get to see that (SEASON 2 PLEASE). The Republic doesn't deserve Lena. Seeing Lena seeing that memorial to the Spearhead Squadron was just amazing. But nothing, absolutely nothing beats Lena meeting the five members of Spearhead Squadron. When Lena's tears started streaming, so did mine. I just couldn't hold it back anymore. All five of them have survived. And I'm so glad that the five of them really respect her and now greet her as a friend. I really can't forget Lena crying. Even Kurena is happy to see her. I'm so glad this series exists. I'm so glad. I love this series so much. I'm so glad I decided to pick Cour 1 up back then. It has absolutely been amazing. Thank you so much to the author, to the production committee, and of course to the anime team. And the VAs too with their wonderful performances. You don't see this many amazing anime. A solid 10/10. I am praying my hardest for a season 2. I'll buy the novels anyway, and I think a lot of people will too. So come on, a season 2 please! |

| Okay finally it's finish, while the animation and sound is impressive but my opinion on the story and character is still the same (doesn't impress me). Now I would not put it at the bottom on my list but definitely not at the top either So overall it's a 7/10 |
| Lovely reunion. Finally they meet each other. Beautiful... Even the cat survive from the war, I'm so glad. Just it's weird that Lena doesn't recognize them.... She see them on the picture of her old spearhead squadron.... And she didn't even remember shin voice? Even Shin himself remember her voice on the previous episode... Well, can't wait for the next season!! |

| This episode felt like an epilogue that was way too long. They should have found a way to merge it with the previous episode to give it some more tension, instead of it being one long release. Having all those credits in the middle of the scenes was a bit of a distraction too. A shame for what has otherwise being a solid season. But the last 4 minutes is all what we have wanted all along. |

Shit, shit, shit, I'll see it again, this time without hiatus I don't understand how people who don't watch anime can despise these art works!!!!!!! The animation, the soundtrack, the story, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING WAS GOOD IN THIS ANIME The only problem was the indefinite hiatus for months, but this ending can make up for everything, I will forgive everything thanks to this |

| This is one of the best post-climax episodes I have ever seen in anime. It was climatic too in its own way. A great finale to end this arc, with the long awaited face to face encounter, I couldn't ask for more. AOTS for me, hope the next season to be the AOTY... and to see the ship Lena x Shinei. 9/10 |

The Legion start their assault on San Magnolia. Right after, the Morpho shoot at multiple bases from the Federacy which includes the one Shin and co were staying. Lena rally every 86, disactivate the minefield and open the door of the Republic for the 86 to fight in the 1st district were she is staying. That happens right after her confrontation with her Uncle. 86 part 2 ep 6, Lena with the 86, now in the 1st district, are fighting against the Legion trying to hold a defense line. It falls in 1 week(mentionned in the last episode). Lena with the rest of the troop slowly get pushed away toward the east were the spearhead squadron were sent to on the recon mission and try to keep a defensive line. This last for 2 months (mentionned in the last episode). 86 part 2 ep 8-11, the Morpho get chased by the Nordlitch squadron until they get close to the Republic border. Lena with the remaining defense line assist Shin to destroy the morpho. 86 part 2 ep 12, timeskip. Aftermath of the battle. The Federacy get back the destroyed first district. Lena after going back to her destroyed room become an envoy to help the Federacy and join the 86 strike package with Annette. She meet with the former Spearhead squadron. This is the general timeline. I might have gotten a few thing wrong though so anyone is free to correct me. |

That was the only problem for me, and the reunion was so dumb there were so many hints she could have recognized him. |

| I'm going to be honest, I did not care much at all about Frederica and her problems this whole season... the last 2 episodes were really good though with the reunion of Lena with the crew. |
