The visuals and animation from Ufotable as per usual are absolute fire. "The flashback before the big power-up" trope gets used a lot in this series. I counted 3 alone in this episode. I don't mind characters getting power-ups, but please do better than a 30-second flashback to try and explain away the ass-pulls right before they happen. It's a sign of lazy writing. Not to mention i think u forgot him mentioning the potential of sun breathing in the previous episodes so it was laready forshawdowed... This was the first time he actually used sun breathing constantly not to mention he was soo enraged that he didnt even realize the extent to which he damaged his body(he will most likely end up in 2 months of rehab like before).....i hope they explain the anger thingie in the next episode though.(the reason for nezuko s change) i think alot of it has also to do with psychology as well like people who dont get angry often are dangerous when enraged as explained by his brother. |

Tanjiro's fight was awesome but Nezuko stole the episode, first with that entrance blowing half of Daki's head off with a kick lol and then of course with her transformation.... Hot damn! I had already seen it before so I was looking forward to it haha. Can't wait to see more of her. |

| NOW THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL A FIGHT. Tanjiro vs. Daki, IT WAS SPECTACULAR, on par with Season 1's Episode 19. Tanjiro on his own is losing the fight against Upper Rank Six Daki, but with his unlimited Sun Breathing anger that's revealed since the meeting with Kyojuro's father Shinjuro, him going berserk to save lives in the layered memories of Muzan...is sub-conscious and unfazed confidence at the expense of going Plus Ultra while unsparing his life. And then there's Nezuko, which she being back in action is such a treat, now unstoppable in her full demon form. Uzui has the Kyojuro feel, though not quite, now that him, Inosuke and Zenitsu are on the chase. Episodes like these...always goes 100/10. |

| It was really easy to miss if you weren't looking closely, but the reason Tanjiro threw Daki's leg to the side is because he didn't cut her leg off with his katana- HE RIPPED HER LEG OFF WITH HIS BARE FUCKING HAND |

| I don't like massive power ups pulled out of ass but at least something is finally happening. Wouldn't mind seeing more of mature Nezuko either. Though I'm not sure what's up with the horn. I don't remember other demons being horned like that. Maybe it's just the usual high rank shinto oni thing. |

| What we finally got to this episode, and the stuff that will be there next episode is the main reason I was excited for this season as a manga reader. But once again, as is par for the course with Demon Slayer, Ufotable took the source material and elevated it to the next level. This was actually the portion of the manga where I felt the author found her stride. The pacing seemed much better than the early volumes, the action was much more precise and easier to follow, and the emotional beats hit quite well. So the fact that I enjoyed the first season and the movie so much despite some of the early bits of the manga being lack luster for me got me pumped for the adaptation of the manga portions I thoroughly enjoyed (the rest of the manga from here on out). Next episode is gonna be amazing!!!!! |

Flashback was more like tanjiro’s thinking about he wasn’t capable of wielding Sun breathing or he wasn’t the right person to be chosen up for this task . Unlike In the end he failed to control the ability. Every ass pull dosnt needed to be explained in the end u guys will complain about slow pacing. |

| Oh my god, how can every episode of S2 be better and better?! The animation in this episode was top quality! Just pure epicness! I was in awe throughout the whole episode. Tanjiro is really tough and improved a lot. I think sun breathing techniques are just the right thing for him! He could almost kill Daki, wow! Daki destroying the entire street was just horryfing. And I had goosebumps seeing the memories of Muzan - it must have been tanjiro's great great grandfather or someone! Also nice flashback to Kyojuro's father, I am happy he finally realized what kind of idiot he was. But the best moment of this episode - NEZUKO!! She's so badass!! can't wait to see what's next as the next episode will be called Transformation, so I suppose it means Nezuko's transformation. |

| i must the only one that likes the manga a lot more, i really don't like ufotable animation style, it's not good and the cgi make it worse, the manga art has soul especially in characters expressions, the anime is just bland to me. |

| Calling this episode "fire" sounds overused, but at the same time, it's the perfect way to describe how crazy this episode was between Daki and Tanjiro. The way that it had the same vibes that episode 19 of season 1 did is a testament to ufotable's talent in making their battle so epic that keep most viewers on the edge of their seats. The timing of the OST, sound effects and, most importantly, the animation itself, just makes the battle a joy to watch. Sadly, even this wasn't enough for Tanjiro to defeat Daki as he reached his absolute limit of his powers. Thankfully, Nezuko came him to save him and she too also powered up herself to become more like an adult in terms of appearance. It was very, VERY satisfying seeing her look down upon Daki as she crushes her into the ground with her feet. The next few episodes have a lot of live up to, that's for sure, although I do think we'll have another stellar animated moment within this arc soon enough. =) |
| This is the best ep of the season so far! Not only did we get to see Tanjirou go OP but Nezuko showed us just what a bad bitch she is! How the hell is she so powerful?! Daki went pretty hard this ep too though; the way she destroyed nearly the whole street without effort is insane! |
