| Takemitchy's always eager to go back to his own time when things seem like they are working out, but he should be more cautious. He's got the ticket to reach the upper echelon, this would be a chance to have a training arc to earn that title. The timeline has altered so Takemitchy made it big, but Mikey's still missing and Draken's execution has passed. I expected poison as soon as Kisaki offered Takemitchy and Chifuyu drinks. He's a clever mastermind, if he displays a change of heart, always assumes ulterior motives. Hope Naoto bursts through with a SWAT team or something. |

HANAGAKI TAKEMICHI, CAPTAIN OF TOKYO MANJI GANG'S 1ST DIVISION Holy crap, not only did Takemichi got formally welcomed to Toman, but through his connections and relationships with Mikey and Chifuyu, he managed to immediately jump to be the CAPTAIN of the 1ST DIVISION. My boy is rising up the ranks immensely quick! Being the head of Toman is still a far stretch, but it's certainly possible. However, several weeks have passed during this time leap period, and it's time to travel back to the present and brief Noto of the mission he has accomplished and the next target they should take if they even need to do that at all. Aaand, in the present, Takemichi really got it ALL. He's one of Toman's upper echelon, he's filthy rich, he's respected by many, and his influence is massive. But damn, nothing has changed when it comes to Toman being the evil organization that it is at the present day. It's just that Takemichi is a part of this evil organization. With that being considered, I can only wonder how awfully twisted and despicable the Takemichi of the present day is before OUR Takemichi took over control. Holy shit just imagine, with that kind of hairstyle and how Kisaki calls him a 'hero', Takemichi might have acted as if he's a mafia boss or something. Don't know... What I do know is that this is not how it's supposed to be. This present is not the future any of Takemichi's friends or himself would've loved to be in. Kiseki is as manipulative as he was in the other timelines, though it's more personal in this timeline with him executing Chifuyu and... Takemichi? Argh, IDK?! 1 thing stood out from the rest in my observation... THIS IS THE MOST CLIFFHANGER, SEASON FINALE CLIFFHANGER THAT I'VE SEEN IN A LONG TIME I don't want to read the manga, but dammit, this cliffhanger is too much of a blue-baller, I guess I'm reading the manga then! Season 2? check, that'll be forever away. |

| It was an okay show. The time travel thing is what made it interesting. The characters are pretty cool except for Takemitchy whose character is quite pathetic for the most part. I understand what the author is trying to do by setting an example that you don't have to be tough to be strong but realistically perseverance alone can't move mountains. It would've been cool if they showed Takemitchy grow stronger both mentally and physically to redeem himself from his regrets and achieve his goal instead of just trying his luck everytime. Hopefully his character grows and becomes better. |

| 24 episodes and he is still crying. Jesus, worst than Eren in the first 2 seasons. Good series, between 7-9 i'll give it an 8. Looking forward to season 2. |

| Just some thoughts of the season I think it falls into the category of time travel stories, where it feels unsatisfying to watch as the goal keeps moving into more absurd directions. The characters overall are pretty good and more likeable then I would usually expect. Takemichi as a character is a quite a bit over the top, which can be pretty annoying cause it sometimes takes away from scenes tbh. Animation can look pretty mediocre in scene and they clearly cut corners for a lot of them, which is noticeable as there are a lot of fight scenes. Overall it was entertaining to watch, but there are some glaring issues that stood out that I am unsure they will change in future seasons. |
