| This just feels like a Hollywood blockbuster. I just wish that the art and animated 2D parts were better. The direction and the 3D animation are high-key what carries this show. |

| What a rollercoaster of emotions. I was delighted to see Fido return in one piece, with upgrades and instantly playing with Shin again. But fuck me, I didn't expect the death of Eugene :( That was literally heartbreaking to watch after all the interactions Shin has had with him. Also feel sad for Frederica, made a new friend and took a photo of that moment, shame he had to die so soon.. Also my boy Shin can't catch a break, from one battlefield to the other and he is still carrying out his duty as the reaper. Sad truth is that the battlefield is where he belongs. RIP Eugene. |

| Great episode. The OST was pretty great here, it carries well the emotion in the scene. As expected there's no Lena. I wonder if we might get more scene of her in the second half? I think it would fit a lot more than the first half so I'm hoping for it. Once again 86 show the power of "show don't tell" but I have to wonder if anime-only can actually notice much of it? The 2nd volume was about dwelling in their thought and while I think the anime does a good job of showing the 86s feeling, I have to say it can be hella subtle. I wonder if anime-only noticed that the 86s were actually really not happy about having the juggernaut and the memorial erected on the battlefield? Eugene death sure was brutal, they sure went all out. Sadly he never got close to Shin as he is always keeping everyone on arm length. I just hope they use the opening better than just putting it right in the beginning of every episode. The ending placement seems to be as good as the first season despite the song being inferior to avid. Hopefully the op placement get better over the episodes. Looking forward to the next episode! |

| Is it just me or did they cut out some of the Eugene banter? I can't really recall because it was only a short period (I'd say fairly close in pacing compared to source material), but I vaguely recall they made Nouzen warm up a little. Maybe not-- or maybe it was my inner voice? I thought Eugene asked how it looked, and Nouzen said something like don't look down but half your body is gone. Something...like that? Maybe not. Or maybe it was there and they tried to make him the silent reaper type instead? |
The poor guy had a giant death flag above his head from the start, but this hit hard anyway... very sad he was a good guy... and very sad for his imouto too. |
| That switch between the two scenes was shocking for me, I wasn't expecting it to happen so quickly. The most important is: The reaper is back. |

| The end moments of this episode turned dark real quick. From talking about his sister to losing his life remembering her at the end was harsh. Also Shinei got his gun back only to use it so soon. |

| Not a bad episode. Pacing felt really fast. I wish they didn't make it so obvious that Eugene was going to die. Could have seen that from a mile away. Other than that, very good animation. Looking forward to what's next. |
| episode really didn't much for me sucks he went out but the way that dude was talking all i could think was he was 100% gonna die real soon just didn't think that soon everything has been going far too fast for me to really settle in the Fido scene from the first cour was like the one emotional moment i felt this really earned so him coming back while not crazy since it's just a robot and it's data can be recovered is kinda lame and i will never like bringing back dead characters regardless of if there human or not while things were grim at the end i got a good laugh out of that one guy saying hes got a bad feeling about shin....like hes a reaper.. some good parts this week though like the memorial scene |

| Holy Shit they really kicked things up a notch this episode. That memorial was really nice and I was really happy to see fido back, but holy shit the Eugene scene took the cake. It sad but also super well done.Tthis show just seems to get better every episode, can't wait for next week |

| Ok from the second he was introduced he was asking for death flags every sentence. He was the walking incarnation of a death flag. I see they've improved their blood graphics though lol. Lots of blood in that scene compared to season 1. I hope we get to see some Bloody Reina soon. |

| Eugene's death was unfortunately set in the stone at the moment he said he would take his little sister to an amusement park or shopping. Huge death flag that didn't deceive : he met an abrupt death, which also brought back the very meaning of Shin's nickname, the Reaper. Though I like this aspect of the anime, gives a "war never ends" vibe which makes things darker. Hoping to see Lena's POV in next episode, it's been a while already. |

| Obvious death flag was obvious for Eugene. I'm not surprised the 86 are so much better at piloting and fighting than all the others. They had to struggle and suffer every day of their lives which made them stronger. |

| Decent, I hope they didn't expect me to feel anything for *checks name* Eugene's death lol, some two episode side character that we barely knew. It's cool to see Fido back though. All this show really has going for it right now is incredible directing and animation, everything else pretty substandard. |

| Every episode is making me question more and more on human existence. Ahh, we got a life only for once. Yet see how depressing it become as we become more and more older. 86 is a perfect example to see life in a different light. |
| Predictable as hell. Eugene dying was already a given since the moment he mentioned he wanted to join the army to protect his little sister. Well, at least the whole sequence with Shinei killing him was nicely directed. OK episode overall. For some reason, they decided to bring Fido back and so far, Frederica's character continues to ruin almost every scene she's in. By the way, I wonder what Lena has been doing all these months... |
