| Who thought that this manga is absolutely horrible? I'm usually pretty easy-going with my opinions, but this is just plain awful. I mean, the plot's so forced and unoriginal, the drawing is awkward and terrible and the problem of it all is Aine and Sakuya! I could have(and actually have) made a whole list of the reasons why Kaikan Phrase sucked, but the main things are: - Aine's unbelievably innocent and naive, and yet they have sex every two pages?! - They have sex every two pages?!!!!!(exaggeration, but still) - Aine's not Sakuya's equal, she's his bitch/sex slave. It might seem harsh, but I just cannot see Sakuya any other way other than a controlling man/chauvinist who continually takes Aine on a rollercoaster(the ones that make you throw up! ;D) and yet he's somehow the "perfect heroic gentleman". I mean, it's even horrible for a hentai! Anybody wanna prove me wrong? |

| In all honesty, I don't think anybody can. Granted, I don't think it was THAT bad, but I only managed to get through 20 chapters (and that was too much) before "WTF??"-ing and leaving the thing behind. I agree the plot was forced, and I think everyone knew it was forced, so they had the main characters go off and smex it up as fanservice. *sigh* Plus, I didn't really like the plot line anyway. It reminded me of Gravitation, except Gravitation actually kind of managed to pull it off. |

| It seems to me that most of the manga's fans will freely admit that it's horrible and they love it anyway. The ones I've talked to, at least. But I agree with the entire OP, I can't even get into it for the lulz. |
| I really hate all the sex too. And I hate the main characters. I'm mainly reading it for Atsuro. This is one of the few cases where the anime is much better than the manga. |

| I absolutely adore the manga ^^; Its one of the few series I own all the manga for. It's like being a closet twilight fan. I have read all the books, and thought they were all horrible, but that doesn't stop me from reading them, nor from seeing the movies. I don't know what it is about the series that is so...addicting ^^; As for the plot, it is definitely out there. For those that like the series but hate the sex...try the anime. It actually wasn't that bad! Its a prequel really....so it takes place before Lucifer was even formed. I adore it (even if the art is dated) |
| If you read this for the plot than you are mistaken. It's plot was way over the top, I stopped caring for it around chapter 5. But I still found this manga to be highly enjoyable, the interactions between the characters(Not the sex) was just beautiful. I could actually feel the love Sakuya had for Aine. It's not the best out there, I think everyone knows it, but it's definitely not the worst. As for the sex people need to get over it. I think some people spend to much time reading shoujo manga were main characters kiss like a total of three times. Couples(I know this may come as a surpirse) but they have sex. |

Joking aside, most of her series are just copy-and-pasta with the bad boy molesting the poor girl to death. My friend insisted me to read this series so I read it out of curiosity & boredom. I got pretty far (almost to the end) & to those who quit after the first few volumes, you weren't missing much. It gets pretty repetitive but that's what you get for reading smut in general. No surprise :P |

| Yeah, this manga was pretty terrible. I enjoyed the anime much more though. I also agree with the fact all all of Mayu Shinjo's works are gawd-awful. Not only are all of her storylines identical, the character design is identical, and half the time her names are the same. |

I agree that this one and many others are bad, the plots are usually very similar and predictable but I don't think all her works are horrible. For exampole I really liked Haou airen (though it was getting on my nerves most of the time and the ending also sucked big time). But Akuma na eros is one of my favourites, the plot was acceptable and the ending was ok too. |
