I think some people just praise this beacuse its the only thing we are getting once in a while. |

| great first ep!! power ranger seiyuu cast did great, animation was nice too. idk why but the comedy didnt hit me as hard as the manga but i also started liking the manga after a few more chapters so maybe ill like this more as the episode goes on too :o |

| That cast is gold Really liked the comedy, it's the fun and relaxing kind of show I wanted to watch. The humor centering around adult depression and burnout is quite relatable honestly lol |
| its finally out!!!!!!! this was a really enjoyable first episode. the voice actors really do make this 100x funnier honestly. i was wheezing during the dick joke segment because of miyano. now that furuba is over, i guess that i have a new reason to look forward to mondays |

| This was golden, half of their monologues are too relatable and I felt them. My man struggling in the morning, and with being single. I felt everything he said. This was a great first episode. |

| maybe the fact that i can't understand japanese and have to rely 100% on te subs made some of the jokes fall flat for me, but the Iketeru guy laughing will make me give a second chance (even though I didn't quite get the joke). |

| I like Kamiya Hiroshi, but he really takes the humour out of Uramichi. And, the fact that Miyano Mamoru, who could have played the character, is right there!! What a waste! Anyway, this was still funny. The story of adults who failed in life. haha I was slightly surprised that the guys inside the costumes looked so hot. lol Daga Iketeru's jokes are puns, I guess. It will be very hard to translate those. |
| Woah. Never expected this kind of show get a full duration. I thought it will be max at 11. But, that's it! The comedy really hit and miss, honestly. However, the kids and their pure face really created such a good mood to balance what i feel. Uramichi is a very lucky dude. Too bad he couldn't handle his stress. Because, its hard. Sugita also there too. Then those shimoneta dude. Okay, this is a mess, on a good way, i think.... Please don't punch me, oniisan! |

| So, pretty much commander Levi didn't make it in the final season of that other series and reincarnated in a modern society with a guy who's dead inside and can't stand his own job and life. I'm on the fence on this one. I do like these kind of 2 faced characters, but plenty of the jokes just didn't have either the well enough buildup or the punchline just sucked, along with the timming. I'm ok with Uramichi or any other character being mean while off camera, but I didn't find it funny or cute when Uramichi was straight mean to the kids, even if they didn't get his references. If Uramichi was more like Krusty the Clown, who was a complete two face but it managed to wow the kids and keep his boozing, gambling and love for bombastic asses magazines away from the kids, I would certainly find Uramichi's sad lonely life funny, and not just plain sad. As many have mentioned, the lack of variety with the leading punchline of "adult life sucks" gets tiresome quite fast. I'll give the three episode rule to this one. |
| Hard to get on the first 6 minutes, but lasting to one episode grasp the idea of this anime, easy watch series with no real story behind. Great filler anime when there's nothing else interesting to watch. The art quality reminds me as early as '08 which looks heavily budget, but the the ED song is subtlety cool. |

| I’m not sure if I’ll end up liking this much going forward because it’s so depressingly relatable. I guess the only thing I may have liked was another female character to cling on to the hope that Uramichi could find someone for him, but alas that isn’t the case. |
| holy crap... why is the seiyuu line up so stacked. This is insane lol. They definitely improve my experience. Especially sugita lol. I just can't help but imagine gintoki being under the bear and it's hilarious. But for the most part, the depressing style of comedy isn't really my type of thing. I can't really relate to the whole sad lifestyle thing but I guess the show does what it attempts to do well enough |

| Ok, I'll call it this early in the season: This is my AOTS. I came into the show with high expectations but I honestly didn't expect laughing this much. This anime is way too relatable. Plus the cast is just *chef's kiss*... Mamo's laughter alone was hilarious! |

| This anime really shows the bitterness of adult life lol. I liked how Uramichi answers to Miki's question about why he's 31 but not married yet :"D Not all the scenes were funny but the comedy was very relatable for sure and I laughed because of it... ugh adult life!!! seriously funny and ironic, hahaha. The seiyuus line up are amazing and both the song and the visuals on the ED are great. |

| That was amazing lmao, though I can kinda see it getting stale if they keep doing the same thing, so I hope that is not the case. Either way I'll still definitely enjoy this show a lot. The voice actors in this show are stacked. I laughed so hard at the Richard Feynman joke, it wouldn't have been as funny if it weren't for Kamiya Hiroshi and Mamoru Miyano's delivery, that was so good lmao. Really looking forward to more "Depression with Maman". ED was a bop though damn, I really liked the retro vibes of it. |

| I loved this, his contrast between his smiley facade with his extremely unstable one is getting me. It's like all expectations for how a normal person would have answered are completely gone. That guy's laugh was contagious while our main character's expression listening to it is dead funny! |

| I love this kind of dark humor! As someone who works with kids, I feel an acute empathy for Uramichi Onii-san cause the dark and gloomy side of me wants nothing more than to be set free when I have to pretend to be cheerful and enthusiastic for the little ones. This is such a lighthearted yet honest depiction of those daily glum moods you get sometimes. I already love Iketeru Onii-san with his inappropriate dirty humor and bordering on stupid personality hidden behind the face of an ikemen. The dick joke was hilarious because it was just so immature and Uramichi got such a kick out of rubbing it in until Iketeru couldn't go on air haha |

| Oh my god. These oniisans are actually HAWT. I’d get with any of them. This is THE hidden gem of the season trollllolllllll it slaps so hard. I love it. Mamo’s voice acting during the dick part was HILARIOUS LOLOLLLLL That ED!!!!! And the ED visuals are gorgeous♡ |
