| Tell me if J.C.Staff at this point is STILL a joke. Food Wars is one prime example, but that is more like the source material shitting itself further. This one though...the manga is great, but the way J.C.Staff depicted it as a motion reel for a PV, welp. I'd guess mediocre anime are rife to meet their fate in Netflix after all (except Beastars, Great Pretender and few others). |

| Well...this is disappointing. What's the point of making it an "anime" if it's just going to be a motion manga? Yeah, you can call it an "artistic choice" or whatever, but that doesn't mean it's somehow good. This looks very mediocre. Hopefully it actually looks better when it comes out, but now I'm not sure about getting my hopes up. |

Since this went with the motion-comic style, you’d think the still frames would at least look good, right? right??? | Feels like just their artistic choice in adapting it. It’s a comedy anime and looks like it’s trying to go for some motion gags like you’d see Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san. They may have wanted to focus more on art and other production needs they felt were more important instead of budgeting for the show to move how we’d see in other shows. |

| Fucks sake, producer, Netflix or whoever made this artistic decision, you literally had the easiest AOTY ever on your hands and you fucked it up LMAO This youtube comment sums it up pretty perfectly: When we ask for a close adaptation of the manga, we don’t mean digitally scan each page of a copy you got from the library and show them to us one after the next Animation aside, voice acting was 10/10 as expected so I'm still gonna watch it. | Haven't read the manga but I've heard of this series, It does look quite stiff and just like a colored manga with a powerpoint slide, but the most I could see with the average score is like a 7.5 I don't think it's JC.Staff's fault on this too much since anime they've produced such as A Certain Scientific Railgun have good animation, I think it's more of on the side of Netflix's budget they want to put into it like similar with Crunchyroll and Ex-arm. But we never know until the first episode airs but it doesn't look so good |

A new era has started with Ex-arm, now Gokushufudou, let's see what will be next. There're off model characters, and the trailer is supposed to be best parts. This animation is just a motion manga with downgrade in art. |

| At first i was afraid that this would be full CGI, but although it isn't i'm still kinda disappointed, the animation has room for big improvements..... I'm still going to watch this for Kenjirou Tsuda!!!! If it wasn't for him voicing the MC, i probably wouldn't bother with this though. Also, i'm sad to know that Kenjirou Tsuda doesn't actually play the MC in the live action adaptation..... :( That trailer is missleading then!!! I might have skipped on the anime and just watched the live action instead if Kenjirou Tsuda was actually in it, but alas.... :( Also that director is freaking retarded!!!! >_< |
