You're being knowing disingenuous and operating under the guise that every single vote registered for the anime is legitimate. Don't fool yourself.

Looking through his twitter feed, there are a number of people already confirmed to have registered multiple accounts. The point is, once the algorithm has been implemented over the next fortnight, all votes registered after a particular date will be purged, legitimate or not.

Ultimately, this only hurts the anime, long term.
