| Eugeo stole the spotlight this episode. That enhance armament followed by release recollection was a great sequence. Too bad things didn’t go in Eugeo’s favor in the end. Also it’s sad Bercouli got diposed in that way, but at least he got a semblance of the truth before departing. |

He knew he is at it's teen so he got the highest Maximum life, for example he is 2000/2000. but Bercouli is at around 40+ years old, so his life is 1500/1500. So Eugeo released his "Release Recollection" and let their life drop, until Bercouli is dead or unconscious. then he would rest a bit and regain his life afterward. Well that's what he's trying to do but unexpectedly, Bercouli is stronger than he thought and he's thinking that it'll end in draw at least that's what he thought in the novel but after that, chudelkin shows up. |

In the novel this battle was so damn epic. i mean how come battle vs goblins could be better than the knights? as a novel reader im a bit disappointed about the fights, but everything is fine.The talk of how the weapons work with their "Enhance" and "Release" does remind me of Bleach and I mean that in a good way. =) Eugeo and Bercouli's battle felt calm and intense at the same time. It was really enjoyable to see Eugeo use his brain to work around how Bercouli's time sword worked and the result was impressive. The animation and art quality also step up a notch for the fight and was great all around. The only annoying thing was, unsurprisingly, the short clown at the end who had no need for Bercouli and has set his eyes on Eugeo. Since Eugeo gave it everything he had in his fight and is let in the state that he is, I think he's going to be in for a hard time now. D= Alice and Kirito had another nice moment between them when Kirito whipped out two steamed buns out of his pocket. Alice stopped him from potentially ruining the buns and she quick-cooked it herself to perfection. She also is starting to remember her younger sister back at the village, so I only hope that Kirito's talk to her in the next proper episode will help her remember the memories that was sealed away. zalapeno said: the fight was too simple even the fight from the OP looks better than this. im expecting a great fight vs the old man but A-1 says nah, goblin's fight still much better imo I'm going to be blunt here, but criticism like yours honestly triggers me a bit. Considering that A-1 is giving it their all for this 50 episode season, I don't think the production team will have time to make every fight to be as good as the Goblin fight. Does it really need to be? No, of course not. OP animation for most shows always are better than the individual episodes itself and most anime fans already know and accept that. I think you got too spoilt by the effort that went into that fight in episode 4 and has left you craving for more, so much so that even good animated fights like this one between Eugeo and Bercouli doesn't cut the mustard anymore. You should be more grateful to the production team for being able to put the effort to making this show more visually beautiful and animated more smoothly than the 2 seasons prior so far. There'll be weaker animated episodes, but that's to be expected from a long-running season like this one. The production team are humans at the end of the day, not robots that can produce brilliance every single time. =/ |

| Eugeo acted too rashly. He gets his ass in trouble so easily without Kirito by his side. Now what, are they going to brainwash him into becoming an integrity knight too. Kirito will speak to Alice about her past in the next episode. |

| The fight between Eugeo and Integrity Knight Bercouli (is that how you spell his name?) Synthesis 1 was amazing. Eugeo was pretty clever and I'm surprised but glad he managed to fight and win on his own! I noticed that the clown appeared in the opening for this week's episode but I didn't think he'd be introduced in that same episode. Mr. Clown doesn't seem to be messing around though. It'd be messed up if Kirito has to fight Eugeo turned Integrity Knight. Can't wait for what's going to happen in 2 weeks! |

| Aaaaaaaaaanndd there we go! Eugeo is more or less going to get "reprocessed" or brainwashed now, I think. On a more positive note though, her outwitted that Knight Commander, although I must say that I was quite disappointed with the battle, I was expecting it to be a bit bigger and thrilling but ok. Also, that scene with Kirito and Alice is a bit cute, especially when Alice's stomach grumbled. |

| That strategy was too smart for Eugeo lol. Nah, it was pretty fun to watch, I was expecting some dull, long 1 on 1 sword fight. I think the way it turned out was much more interesting, especially with Eugeo being ready to take his opponent's life just like that. Already hate the clown guy -_- |

| Cool seeing Eugeo stand up for himself and be useful instead of just a character Kirito has to help out every time. Seems we're gonna get Integrity Knight Eugeo ... Kirito and Alice will probably have to eventually convince him who he was just like the other Knights. |

| A bit underwhelming fight I must say. But overall it was great. Alice is waifu again with her jokes. |

| -Impressive tactics from Eugeo there, however it appeared that he did have an opportunity to deal the victorious blow but had opted to freeze them both. Perhaps he opted for what he believed was a slower but surer approach (since Bercouli couldn't move and would have his life drained for as long as he was trapped in the ice like that) and didn't believe that a direct physical strike would have succeeded? Wouldn't be unreasonable given how Bercouli already had a trick. -Alice be tsun tsun. -Prime Senator is a clown. Of course. |

| That imp was really out of place in that scene, even though technically nothing is impossible in this world. Now we only have to wonder what they'll do with Eugeo, my guess is he would serve are a trap. The best case scenario, Kirito would be able to unlock Alice's memories, the worst case scenario the fight would be inevitable. But at least she did remember her sister if that means anything. |

| Brruuuh, please don't tell me it's Eugeo's turn to join in the enemy's ranks, just after they finally found Alice. Eugeo surprised me with his skill, talking on the first integrity knight, that's a great feat that I honestly can't see Kirito doing as easily as Eugeo did. |
| Well that was a fast fight... from the supposed strongest knight. Though maybe he did hold back or was planning something else. Eugeo's tactic was at least nice. I guess he is gonna be turned now to a knight as well, should be fun. |

| The fight between Eugeo and Bercouli was really well executed, although I thought Bercouli would have put up a bit more of a fight. Eugeo ended up having to go all out in the end and may have potentially died? But I have a feeling he didn't. At least not yet. lol'd at that random clown looking thing coming in at the end of the battle and shit talking the integrity knights. Killed Bercouli too somehow lol. Alice and Kirito working together is kind of cute and it seems like Alice might remember some of her old life at the mention of her younger sister, Selka from Kirito. It's all up to Kirito on how well he can convince Alice now. |

| Finally! The daddy this show has been teasing me with shows up... I already love Bercouli, he's way too hot! Hope he'll be alright His fight against Eugeo went too fast tho, imo I didn't expect much from SAO's S3 but I'm quite enjoying it so far! |
