| What a nice episode, its getting really interesting. Hotaru has a interesting power but it's kinda scary that she will always know whats on your mind. :) Makes me wonder what kind of power those twin's have? That ED with Riken and Hotaru matched this episode perfectly. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| Really love Riken and Susukihotaru singing together. Can somebody get a good screencap of the art at the very end? Lovely picture. Since Riken and Susukihotaru are my huge OTP of this anime season (other than from Kuragehime but it hasn't gotten to that yet in the anime) I was really glad for this episode to get them going more...they are so cute together! | Ahh, what a beautiful episode. Suskihotaru's power is very convenient for a man like Riken :). Also, I don't understand why folks don't like the twins and the young soldier, they're a cute and funny trio. The ED was also captivating...I really enjoyed listening to it and the final scene with Hotaru and Riken. Can't wait for episode 5! :) |

| Ahhh, I don't mind having to say this week after week, but I LOVE this show, although I'm still not sure what caused it. Is it the smooth & soft animation, the pleasant atmosphere, or just the characters? All together they definitely make a nice package. Riken-sama~.. It's about time I 'fangirled' again, haha >.> |
| It was so well-paced and directed by Chiaki Kon (on top of the characters being so nicely depicted) that it was finished in a breeze literally. |

| Riken and Susukihotaru are the most literally perfect pair ever. I loved the little chat about how he is a man of few words, and how he would like it if somebody could read his mind instead. I just went, "cha! It is obvious they were made for each other...by the creator." At first i was curious about an episode without Zakuro, although willing since they had their own last week, but i have to say this one has been the best so far and it has nothing to do with the main character. Really liking the fact that attention has been given to all the characters, and that we have 3 relationships to look forward too; You can have your tsundere and your pie too! Looking forward to next week! |

| Every character is brilliantly depicted and their past and present is simply captivating. The blend of romance and traditional fantasy proves this show to have no flaws at all. I sincerely regret judging the show by the very 1st episode. The twins teasing Ganryuu was funny. RikenXSusuki are very cute though the most entertaining couple is ZakuroXAgemaki. Zakuro for sure has some more hidden secrets. Wonder why the cape girls(?) are chasing her. |

| To those who use either Susuki or Hotaru, her name is Susukihotaru, which translates "the Firefly that resides in the valley of pampas grass" lovely name isn't it. anyways, not that anyone cares, unless you really love her! Susukihotaru <3 Back to topic: The episode was great. Riken and Susukihotaru are like made for one another. Like I said before, they are my favourite couple in the anime. And this episode was perfect for me. So much love. I loved the moment when she cried on his arms. priceless. <3 Not much Akemagi's stupidity and tsun tsun Zakuro. But it seems she was indeed the target of the evil ones. anyways, nice to see Zakuro blushing from time to time. This anime makes me wanna have a Hanyuu bride. OMG. they are so lovely. poor Ganryuu though. Bonbori and Hoozuki are real meanies! but i still love those three. 5/5 and also, awesome ending song. I love all three of them! |

While I agree I also think that he doesn't has as much room for growth as Agemaki so I can see why he's a supporting character. Same as Zakuro...I don't like them as much separately or as a couple as the supporting characters but they have the most room for improvement... |

Otherwise, one stray thought and uh-oh! As sweet as those two are together, I'm glad Zakuro and Agemaki are the main pair. They're a bit more interesting and Agemaki can really make me laugh sometimes. |

| Wow! What a wonderful episode. It was a nice change of pace to see Susukihotaru and Riken-sama, after so many Agemaki and Zakuro episodes. I really liked their client, the shopkeeper... A sexy, pouty-lipped woman who employs spirits? A relative of Yuuko Ichihara's, perhaps? ;D Mugi was adorable... Her mother looked really beautiful. I would've liked to have learned more... Was that Mugi's father, bewitched by the demon sword? Or a spirit-hating human man who happened to stumble upon the sword? Perhaps they will reveal more; usually the girls seem to know more about the circumstances surrounding their "missions" than in this episode. Even the mother fox spirit seemed suspicious about the sword. Very romantic scene, as Susukihotaru tended to Riken's wounded hand, and he allowed her to read his heart. *_* I think this series has the potential to easily be one of the best shows of this season. Mystery, romance, action...! I'm very excited to see Ganryuu and the cutie pie twins next ep. |

| The sweetest episode yet and didn't feel at all phony or rushed. Quite a feat to pull that off so early in the show. And, how cute was that little demon girl and her, uh, whatever it was that spidery creature on her head... This series has awesome development, pacing, characters and everything. Does anybody know how long it will be? It certainly deserves a full 26 episodes. (please, please, please, please say 26) ...can't wait for the first ED to be released, I just luuuved that song. |

This episode was so cute. Everything just fit so perfectly, I can't even put it into words. Susukihotaru reminds me a lot of the character Kobato, and that's not just because she has the same voice actress, either. They're both so sensitive and gentle. I was really missing Agemaki and Zakuro's absence in this episode, but it's fine because I think I like this other pairing just as much! It's quite possible this may be my favorite show this season. Bakuman and Shinrei Tantei Yakumo are also really great, but I think this show is just a bit of a step up on them because it's so freaking cute. ^_^ |

| Been wanting an episode about these two from the beginning, and it didn't disappoint. Best episode so far, in both character and story. Ahhh, can someone tell me who Mugi's seiyuu was? I know I recognise her voice, but I can't put my finger on it >.<; I'm...pretty happy to have an episode without Zakuro, tbh. The less of her the better imo xD;; she's the only thing I don't like about this show, although she seemed a lot less of a tsundere bitch last episode and I hoep she continues like that. (Although, with J.C. Staff's penchant for tsundere...it seems unlikely.) |

I thought her name was Hotaru by that MAL character page...
