| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol, Rimuru and his delusions about elf girls. On a more serious note, we got to witness more powers this episode. Ranga is also quite a badass. Got to see more of the fantasy world including the Dwarf Kingdom. I have to admit, this show has quite a bit of high fantasy elements and races. Dwarves with blacksmith skills is definitely something that seems credible in this show. Those dwarve guys are actually kinda awesome. Cute elve girls also makes their debuts! |

| Oh dear... based on the constantly updated images on twitter #tensura I could see where the episode ended and if the pace keeps as is until the end of the anime, then we'll get one of the biggest cliffhangers of all time in the end... I feel conflicted, because on one hand I really love the pace (i.e. no rushing), but 6 episodes per LN volume? Ending on volume 4 with a cliffhanger? I really wished the anime would show us volume 5 because that's where things really start going crazy and where several plot threads start getting resolved. To stop right before that is such a tease~ Well, maybe the pace picks up a bit after vol. 1 ends or maybe things will be skipped to keep it as "manga-exclusive content" or something like that. We'll see. |

| Wholesome as fuck and very satisfying. Rimuru just making the swords like this and pleasing the blacksmith and his squad was great to see. And he got his elf wish, that was hilarious, good for him! :D |
| Great episode again!! Same as usual with great characters and entertainment It is just a fun series that puts a smile on my face. I was constantly smiling (and laughing at some moments) during the entire episode. |

| Amusing episode that expanded upon the world by introducing the dwarves and their kingdom. Rimuru's fantasies regarding elves was quite amusing. Though he sure went overboard dealing with that party. Funny how those three dwarves were brothers though. The smiths reaction to Rimuru's request was priceless as was their reaction to the copy ability. Its nice that Rimuru actually had his fantasy fulfilled though. Quite the reward for helping the smith. |

| This is such a good anime. Rimuru is so likeable as a character despite being so OP. I love the world. Theres such a diverse cast. This ones going from strength to strength |
| I totally expected some comedic twist with elves after Rimuru getting so hyped for them. Not sure if I'm happy or disappoined now lol Anyway, this anime is getting better and better. I reaaaally hope they don't fuck it up, as it has potential to be one of my all time favourties. |

| I liked the first half. Especially the "fight" with the thugs outside the city was hilarious lol. But I don't like his copy ability, it's just far too game-breaking if he can make at least 20 copies of anything he analyzes. Dem elves tho >.> |

| Okay I'm worried at how slow this is, at the same time worried that this'd just goes from zero to hundred in a matter of episode. Like I could understand if this is 50+ episodes but it's only 24 so How is this so slow when they already showed at the opening, will this be like Black Clover and continue past it's announced number of episodes? |

| I thought Rimuru's elf fantasy was going to get shot down and all the elves would be old hags or buff dudes lol. Thankfully (for us and for him) that wasn't the case. Damn, he can make all those copies of weapons? That's a pretty OP ability. |

I mean in an age where almost every anime uses CGI somewhere, this one really stands out. I think the only instance that MIGHT have been CGI was only the backgrounds, but never any living entity. Usually the primary "targets" for CGIfication are monsters, escpacially Dragons, but both where handdrawn or at most computer-assistedly-drawn but it looks natural and not like, say, the Ogres from Overlord. |

I like the the pace but like you said if we want the good stuff animated at some point they have to rush a little bit. 8bit does a good job and I hope the production committee greenlit a season 02. |

In Death March like 90% of characters that Satou interacted with were female. In Slime it's actually more interaction with males, but it's more of 65/35 ratio, so it's closer to the middle. |

| Another solid episode this week, a great demonstration of yet more of Rimuru's abilities while also doing a decent job of developing the world a little bit more (also nice that elves and dwarves actually get along in this, as that seems to have become quite a prevalent trope in the wake of the Lord of the Rings films). |

Not manga-exclusive, rather it should be LN-exclusive, since anime adapts the source, not the adaptation. /nitpick But yeah, I was really hoping they would at least get to volume 5, where AFAIK some things where added in the manga version that didn't exist in either WN or LN, but I am not sure because I have only read the WN and manga, but not the LN. |

Which is sad because the manga is fairly decent. I absolutely like the fact that this show doesn't feel rushed at all. The casualty report was as funny as i excepted. |
