The show's timeslot is taken next season by another anime, and they didn't introduce a very important character around the end of the anime. There's very little chance for season 2 and it will most likely end either next episode or in 2 episodes. |

"....I said I got New Years money from Kobayashi" "O-okay I'll give you money" Such a relaxing episode. With the kotatsu, they were all just really lazy. Even Kobayashi with her "you're a maid aren't you go do this and that" attitude. But ofc, she gives up after a couple tries. So laidback Kobayashi-san! |

| Ahhh Kotatsu. Who doesn't want them? I would rather have a kotatsu than win a trip to Hawaii or something. The story of the 12 zodiac animals reminded me of Fruits Basket. Lucoa Godzilla tits are still popping out of her clothes lol It's nice seeing them all gather at Kobayashi's place to enjoy a new year's meal together, they even slept over. I want to see Tohru's parents. I bet they look cool. |

| The obligatory New Year's episode, complete with wearing kimono, a kotatsu, a shrine visit and a sleepover. Also, gratuitously detailed orange peels. The third ball won the gang the kotatsu and Kobayashi scored with the orange peel on her third try. This occurred to her, but she didn't make note of it. Well, it could just be as simple as Tohru secretly using magic. After all the usual comfy stuff, it was even more worrying when the topic of family came up again.  |

| Great episode! Nothing special happened, but it was very nice to see everyone gathered to celebrate New Year. I'm glad Tohru and Kobayashi won the kotatsu. Kotatsu episode > onsen episode. Looks like we'll learn some backstory in the next episode... |

| Once again the serious side remains at the margins of the story, the narration only mentions small remnants of the life of Tohru and Kobayashi, so great space to the moe and the funny moments. What is not missing is the growth of the relationship that ties more and more Kobayashi and its dragon-like tenants. |

| Even Tohru can't resist the kotatsu lol. I'm coming to Japan next year, I'll be sure to try one. Also new year's money is a thing in Japan? I didn't know that! My mother gives us new years' money too, she puts it inside this red chinese envelope and she makes sure everyone has it in their pockets when 12am of the new year comes sort of to bring luck, having money in your pocket during the changing of the year. |
