Shame on all you nitpickers that can't enjoy a show...

The plot was interesting and leaves lots of room for expansion. There's so much more yet to be explored potential for this show. This season just scratched the surface.

I marathoned it in one sitting because it was just too damn interesting to stop.

The pacing was just right for me. (although I can see how the constant cliffhangers may piss off weekly viewers)

If they can keep it up for the next season, I'll keep watching.

Also, Yaya is cute ♡

7/10 for enjoyment. That's all that matters to me.

Show was... something I suppose. The premise was interesting and all but really I was more interested in Anji then anything else even the story but the story needed some help badly but was hopeful but in the end I thought there would be a 2nd cour but don't see anything. To just end it like it's like Mahou Sensou and Btoom. It needs a 2nd cour to tie up the remaining stuff like what is Yaya's ability, why is that one guy so strong, what the heck is the blue thing and why is it the MC's mother? etc, etc.

H-Chroma said:
The only good things in this anime were the occasional Anji’s panty shots and that’s it.
There was? I saw none! And I was taking lots of Anji picture scenes too.

12 episodes where the smallest fragments of a plot take a backseat for people running around screaming "who are you?", "whats going on" and "we're all going to die" which wraps up with a non-ending.

If this gets a second season it has to be part of a money laundering operation as there's no way to justify wasting money on making more of this.

Bad ending to a very meh series, might watch a second season if it ever comes, but Hitori no Shita from last season was so much better

Wow...dat cliffhanger ending - seriously,at least try to find a good stopping point.

The bad animation aside, the story was fairly interesting IMHO but of course, raised a bunch of questions that it didn't have time to answer and unless there's a 2nd season, probably never will.

Tbh though, give this 2 cours and better animation and it'd prolly be a solid anime.

5/10 - will watch a 2nd season if there's any though.

This can't be it, can it?! This show needed at least 24 eps to flesh out everything that was going on with the plot AND last minute plot twists. Maybe EMON ran out of financial support and just had to end it immediately. Maybe?

Way too abrupt an end for being a finale for this season. Could have tied it it up better. Premise was interesting but 12 eps was too short for this show since literally nothing was explained. Don't imagine it would get a 2nd season either so guess I'll never know what was truly going on, meh.

Hmm so judging from that ending there's going to be a second season eh
While not horrible it didn't have a ending and a rather muddled story that just wasted the talented cast they have here. They need to hire more talented writers for the next season.

And this episode really did not feel like a last episode either.

Hmm so that monster can only detect sound then eh
but man thats a lot of charges
that should be enough to take down the building

So maybe that skeleton starved to death then
as he wasn't attacked by monsters but looked like he was trapped there
So it was someone that Mi Liu knew eh
She must have suffered such a long and loney death surrounded by all these monsters

So she was part of the plan that resulted in the bringing in of more people into Aori that also included among them Anji eh
Man that monster attack came at a damn inopportune moment though

Lol Mi Liu stuck in a fight between two monsters with him being the prize
Hmm so Anji gained powers thanks to that blood transfusion eh
The power to use shadows eh
Wow Anji's going all out with her powers there but everyone's lives is on the line including Yaya's so she has to.

Good thing that the plan worked though and now Yaya is safe for the time being
So it was Anji's power awakening that caused them to be arrested in the first place for murder instead of mere robbery eh
its no wonder that Win Chao would be mad at her now having discovered the truth
wow that was certainly unexpected as i thought that it was the BST that did that

Lol Win Chao forced to save Anji instead of killing her
about time for Lee to wake up though
but damn there's more monsters than he has blades for
things look bad but hey looks like the bad guys arrived right on time lol

First time i was glad to see the bad guys appear lol
lol Lee being saved by his nemesis Lou Yao
Im liking his facet of Anji though in that she's braver and more determined than before. Shame that it took the last episode to bring that out.

Wow the final boss is huge
and Lou Yao just punched it in the head lol
hmm so the final boss was some sort of path eh

Lol I'm actually finished watching this.
And it didn't even looks like a finale at all! >3>
I know the animators pretty much give up on this anime at this point, but come on, that's looks like they're not even trying..!

Either way, they should be grateful for Anji and Eri Kitamura for being the only selling points for this anime, at least for giving me a reason to keep watching.
There. Moving on...

Can't believe I sat through 12 episodes of this and not drop it. The hot dad sure did help although he appeared in 3? episodes at most. Lou Yao was the only rewarding thing for me this episode and I totally expected that cliff hanger final episode. If there's a second season I'm watching only for that hot dad who only gets at most 15 minutes of screentime. Chen Fong still shirtless till the end.

I still feel like none of my questions in regard to this series have been answered.

That tiny snippet at the end - there is potential for another season.
Do a want I another season though? Personally, this anime was weak...so I could do without.

Mi Liu got a birthday present from Zui. He rages once he sees her pic. I don't blame him. She is fine.

Anji becomes a master at using shadow binding in one try? LMAO

The pedo's have come for Yaya.

I had to laugh when Yaya pressed the switch.

Big ass boss monster appears and Yao kills it with ONE PUNNNNNNNNNNNNNCH!

The blue mystery girl was Zui.

Oh, snap. The old man. Season 2 when?

I must be the only one to like Bloodivores for what it is. lol

The OP, ED, and Anji were the best parts of the show. Cho Ifen could have been part of it, but she focked up the harem.

It's like a Chinese anime where the concept is confusing just like the story. A product of bad writing and lack of development. I still don't understand why these "bloodivores" are being referred as vampires when they are nothing like them. Then there people coming back to life miraculously without any explanation, godlike villians, random loli for whom the protagonists risk their life etc.

No wonder it felt like the creators gave up on the show in the end.

I did not enjoy how it ended but I am in love with the anime, however I was waiting for an episode that revealed everything and it added more questions on the last episode it has potential it just needs more episodes, I couldn't stop watching it, so it was good in that since. I can't call it trash because I enjoyed it just not how it ended. I need more episodes or at least another season creators don't leave me like this. I have to know what does it mean when he said Yaya may be a clue, also who is Yaya and why was she there she doesn't fight so her number being that low meant that she was there for quite some time, why was she there alone, why did her room rot from an acid, What is plan B, what actually happened in the bank because I don't remember seeing the little boy behind Anji die, what happened to mi liu's mom, what is wrong with his father I feel I should hate him, but I don't know why he gave his son the gem thing, his father's motives are unclear, At first I thought the blue thing was his mother so who or what is the woman with green hair and why was she protecting mi liu, and why was she in the dragon thing!? So many questions I want answered I am so intrigued, but angry.
I give it a 7/10 for how much I enjoyed it,but if they explain everything in another season I will give it a 9/10

I'm normally not overly critical of shows, but this one oh boy...
Win Chao was annoying from start to finish
Anji was annoying after she somehow revived. I really dislike characters who blame everything on themselves and the other characters are forced to say otherwise.
Yaya got a bit annoying
The Long black haired guy was practically shirtless all season lol
Lee Shin was alright
Lou Yao was pretty cool
Mi Liu was average, somewhat enjoyable but he was portrayed as this edgy rebellious teen who's acting out cuz daddy didn't love him
Mi Tenju was pretty badass, I liked his character and deep voice.

Why? My question is just why? Why the hell did i watch this... I guess I was expecting it to get better throughout the rest of the episodes but seriously wtf. I don't think I've ever been this confused or mad at an anime and a cliffhanger!!! They might as well not have done the anime. I hated it so much but honestly if season 2 does come out I will watch it just to figure out the damn plot and get all these questions answered. This feels like BTOOOM! (with the cliffhanger I mean) all over again but at least that one had manga and wasn't half as bad as this...

The blue mysterious girl is definitely Zui not Mi Liu's mother. Her hair is green like Zui's.

and Anji's power remind me of Shikamaru's Kage no jutsu xD

Seems like I'll never know what happened at the end unless they made 2nd season. only few chapters are translated of the manhua :/

This series was originally slated for 24/26 episodes, so it was pretty obvious we were going to get garbage when it was cut down to 12. I mean it was garbage to begin with since Haoliners was involved, but this was a special type of garbage.

Ok actually I didn't want to write anything for the last episode but this has to be a joke.

How the fuck can you think ending the story at this point is a good idea? As if there'll ever be a second season of this... They can't tell me they thought this through and came to the conclusion this would make any sense.

What is this? No answers. No progression. We just got these tiny bits of information to tease things. Was Anji the one killing the people in the bank? Was it unconsciously? And that final scene topped it all. They must be trolls. Why show that scene in the library, or whatever that was, at all. The police officer could have been skipped entirely after the first episode and it wouldn't have made any difference.

And the worst part is I cannot even look all of this up. The english translations of the source (or at least I think it is the source) are only available for 50 chapters. They aren't even at the point the anime ended at. And even if they were available for more chapters what I've found was maybe even worse than the anime...

The concept might even be slightly enjoyable if done correctly but the execution is just terrible. At least for the anime and what I've seen from the source (I honestly cannot tell if it has been translated from the actual chinese source or from a manga of the source).

I really don't understand why this show is getting this level of hate? I took note of the MAL score before watching, and went in expecting a boring and nonsensical drag of a show, but it was nowhere near as bad as I expected.

I watched the whole thing, and what really drew me in was the plot. I wanted to know the truth, figure out the "why?" of the entire show. The plot threads they gave out all made sense to me, they just never got around to connecting all of them. This felt much more like a mid-season climax, since the goal wasn't resolving the overarching story. I could tell it wasn't going to resolve all the plot threads since episode 9 or so, when they decided that raising Yaya's number was their important goal at the time. So I wasn't particularly upset when everything got cut short. A second season should wrap things up, hopefully.

I see a lot of people complaining about the characters, which were not where this show shines, but they didn't come off as abnormally bad to me. The web comic seems to put much more focus on developing Mi Liu's backstory in the first few chapters, and seems to have more detail and explanation in general. For people who liked this or who want more on the characters or plot, this seems like a good thing to check out. Yes, it's not translated past the anime's end, but there are 50 chapters... that's a lot that got cut for this 12 episode anime. I found the pacing was alright even with this, though.

Yes, there was weird art and animation at times, but nothing abnormally bad.

In the end, I liked this show, but it's incomplete and hasn't reached all its potential. I looked forward to seeing what happened next. I'm a harsh rater, and am giving it a 5/10, which means that I found enjoyment and was intrigued in it but it wasn't spectacular. Still confused by such a low score in general, since a lot of MAL users rate everything so high.

I don't have high hopes for season 2 seeing as how this was received. It was already cut to 12 episodes from 24.

It wasn’t as bad as many have said but it definitely was a different way of telling a story. Leaving us with a cliff hanger though was pretty annoying. Actually many loose ends remain in the story. Perhaps in a drug induced hallucination they thought this different style would lead to many follow on series. I dunno.

I stopped watching this in episode7 and couldn't remember why. About 5-6 years and 5 episodes later, I know why. I wanted everyone to die, especially Anji and that YaYa child. Yaya first so she couldn't resurrect anyone. And that end! Guess they stupidly thought there'd be a s2.

Well... the idea was there. the anime was just poorly written.

i was seriously confused why they would end it with her being behind the whole aori plan. and i'm also confused if anji realised she killed all those people.
also yaya either was the most powerful person in the whole series for being able to resurrect anji, or the guys are just really shit and checking if someone is breathing or not. or the director just can't think of another way to get her back to life than have it ambiguous
