| Of course Ii would be lucky number 7. lol at Ii tilting his head away from Maki looked at him. Yayoi unnecessary head tilt. Dat lick. Yayoi got the god tongue. Someone new is coming. Dem Akane legs. Rei oppai in the background. lol at Ii calling Maki a parasite. lol at Maki saying pot/kettle. Earthquake? Ii getting on top. Ii is right. Tomo is adorable. I knew Kanami was dead from that phone call. Dat booty tho. The killing has begun! Disappointed at the lack of Akane and Rei in the episode. I just said in the last episode that Kanami was a waifu candidate and now she's dead. WTF! |

| I definitely enjoy the way the characters play off each other, it's fucking classic NisioIsin Holy shit that ending. Obviously we're supposed to think it's the girl that didn't like her but that's too obvious, and also her assistant smiled for a second after supposedly calling her on the phone so maybe he did it and she was dead the entire time and he simply created an alibi for himself, but again I feel that is way too obvious, but maybe not |

| Wow so far this is hard to digest. The conversations are heavy as well as the pacing. At least i guess it'll get interesting with the incident at the end. |
| When that man called her after the earthquake it was pretty obvious that she was dead and he was trying to cover up. I just hope that it will have some element of mystery to it with the killer being someone else and him just being an accomplice or something. The dialogues were truly zaregoto. Majority of the episode was simply pseudo intellectuals trying to trigger each other. |

| I quite liked the scene where Maki verbally assaulted Ii at the dinner table. I could just feel the tension building—really nice characterization. Also, Tomo wishing to be a fish so that she never has to bathe... only to immediately go off on a tangent about how to boil fish alive without them noticing (though as far as I'm concerned, this isn't actually true; it's a fable that's been debunked), oh well, still a funny juxtaposition.  |

| The atmosphere at the front of the table was amazing, thanks to Kunagisa for stopping it before anything bad happens. Good example about the fish and the water, that talks about us and the global warming. Himena's personality is about being straightforward, she overdo it mostly. She's being hard to our Narrator, she completely hates him. Basically Kunagisa has the all things that Ii-chan wants, that's why he is jealous of her. They finally show us the real game, Kanami dies, and basically this is where the title "beheading" comes. |

| Much better episode than the first one mainly cause I liked how the geniuses were almost ticking each other off during the conversations (and even Boku too when Maki was going after the way he thinks during supper time and he almost lost it before Tomo calmed him down), but we do get more of an understanding of how each character is. The cliffhanger ending with someone being beheaded was a solid one too as it kick starts the murder mystery that the book is all about. Pacing was better overall in this episode as the interactions really carried the episode as a whole. Still unimpressed visually from SHAFT given their staff and experience, but it is what it is. Like the OP visuals and how it was handled a lot, not spoiling everything but still showcasing a lot of what the show is about and the appeal of it. Good song too. |
