These sales just shows that Aqours is well behind μ’s. Can the upcoming 1st live in February and/or a 2nd Season anime increase their sales, or are they doomed to forever be in μ’s' shadow? I feel bad for Aqours. |

Not surprised of thoose Strike the Blood sales its anyway just 1episode so it should be affordable also the previous OVA series sold also really good. So i guess this explains then why they decided to rather go with an OVA system instead of doing a normal 12ep season. |

Final (probably) update for the Girls und Panzer Movie: http://girls-und-panzer.at.webry.info/201611/article_11.html The KanColle Movie (released last weekend) did pretty poorly as expected, so the rankings won't change until perhaps when the Sword Art Online Movie comes out in February 2017. This is the current standings for the 2016 Oricon Yearly Top 30 Overall Sales Ranking, as of the October monthly rankings (2015/12/14~2016/10/30). I believe the ranking period ends on Dec 11th, so we will know the full 2016 ranking around Dec 25 or so, based on when the 2015 list was released. Note: This includes sales from Anime BD/DVD, Music BD/DVD/CD, Light Novels/Books, and Manga. This doesn't include other parts of a franchise such as mobile game sales, Box Office revenue, merchandise sales, etc. Note2: Love Live! includes Sunshine's sales, while Idolmaster includes Cinderella Girls, Million Live, other spin-offs, and Side-M. Here is the spreadsheet if anyone wants to see the earnings on a per month basis: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YwTJ6-yPbFWa7mvKLfRY3hUHM0Kvj1OTA5F1K58E7v8/edit#gid=866931846 This was the ranking for the 2016 Half-Yearly: |

It's interesting that it took 6 volumes for the first noticeable decrease ( which was gonna happen sooner or later ) to happen. Considering that the event tickets are already gone for about 4 volumes this is a pleasant surprise! If the following volumes hold up it might actually make the 10k average :) |

Damn Keijo!!!!!!!! sold badly, wasn't expecting a lot but to not even make the cut-off is incredibly disappointing. Can only hope the money coming in from streaming elsewhere will make up for it as I heard it is very popular in some western countries streaming. My copy should be arriving in the next week or so hopefully. The manga doesn't seem to have had a noticeable boost either which is sad. Fab to see Strike The Blood still selling strongly. Macross Δ dropping again is expected but still disappointing. Still good sales though and everything else for it seems to be a hit. |

That's quite the reduction in sales for Sunshine compared to the initial two volumes, Well I'm still happy it's on top though. Ruby cover is so cute. 7k for Strike the blood? I had no idea it was actually popular. Glad to see New Game up there as well, Mob Pyscho dropped a bit compared to the last volume. :( @Ejc How do Aqours stack up against μ’s on a volume by volume basis so far? |

It's not that I think it's bad or anything like that and I'm watching it... but I expected less tbh Flying Witch selling good is also really nice |

Not that great. 18.72% down vs LL 2nd Season Vol.1 in terms of 1st week sales, it is bigger if compared to the total sales. It is slightly higher vs LL 2nd Season Vol.2, but that's because of the 1st Live Day 2 event ticket serial code bundled on it. 43.95% down vs LL 2nd Season Vol.3 in terms of 1st week sales. 30,960 41,769 *50,867 14.11.21 [28/31 weeks: 51,140~52,217] ← Had major stock issues, as shown by a large week 2. 07巻 51,985 57,672 *70,873 14.12.25 [17/17 weeks] Note: 362,248 total from Vol.1~6 in the 2014 Yearly list. 108,196 total from Vol.1~7 in the 2015 Yearly Series list. While μ’s had a bigger numbers for their counterpart, it is due to the fact that they were already established at that point. Aqours on the other hand is barely over a year since their debut. µ's already pulling big BD numbers for the season 1 sales already? I think it is fair to compare the season 1 of µ's with season 1 of aqours. Just comparing the Aqours 1st Season CD sales and µ's 2nd Season CD sales, the numbers are very similar, so it is more appropriate to compare Aqours to the 2nd Season rather than the 1st Season, where µ's actually had to build their fanbase. Aqours only needs to convince the current massive Love Live! fanbase to support them and possibly get new fans to the Love Live! franchise. I wouldn't compare Aqours to µ's in their Movie era yet, because that's when µ's pretty much reached their peak in popularity and success. μ's 2nd Season singles 49,099 *63,998 *15 KiRa-KiRa Sensation!/Happy maker!
