| Oh my god. I'm so happy yet worried for this anime. Kuzu no Honkai is one of those manga where it's extremely character driven and it can be easily fucked up from a tiny misplaced or misinterpreted detail. Sincerely hoping that the studio does it justice. |

| This is gonna be so exciting! I feel like they might mess it up though. The director involved must pay attention to the characters. Honestly, it's the deep characters which make it so good, despite being a messed up manga. |

| I just saw it on incoming anime Winter 2017 and got curious so I'm reading the manga now, force of habit when I got curious (applicable also to anime that I'm getting curious from synopsis). I think they can adapt it just right when it comes to ero scenes focusing on faces only and their place (of course with ero sounds and imagination!) but more importantly, the characters needed to be introduced properly since the manga had a good pacing when it comes to character development of each (can't be half-assed because the ero scenes relied on characters' individuality so much). |

| I’m excited, but worry at the same time. You could say that I’m happy to see this getting some more recognition by getting a TV adaptation, but at the same time I would have been perfectly fine if it hasn’t gotten one as well. I believe this is one of those manga that are better off left alone as manga. The fact that this series will be 11-12 episodes long is a let down already (noitaminA show + Saekano: Flat already taking Spring 2017 slot). There is a lot material to cover and I feel that 11-12 episodes isn't enough to do it justice. I also see the handling of the series themes and characters to be rather difficult for whoever is in charge of the project. The way I see it, things will need to be skipped and/or censored for this to work as a TV show. The sad thing it is that I really doubt this is the type of series that sells well. It will probably tank and never get a second season afterwards. I can see the team behind the project doing either of these 2 things with that in mind: - rush and/or skip thru all the content available and have the series end with an abrupt-open ending - rush and/or skip thru all the content available and have the series end with an anime-original ending (unless the manga is ending soon enough, in which case, they could just add that instead) Anyways, I’m still looking forward to this. Hopefully, it will turn out decent enough. |

| - Makoto Uezo as the guy in charge of the series composition/screenplay is pretty disappointing. He doesn’t seem like a good choice for this. - Masaomi Ando as the Director is a decent choice. He had had some experience with romance before with White Album 2, so that’s good. Although he also had Fumiaki Maruto helping with the series composition. Which, imo, would have been a far better choice for this series than Uezo. I guess he’s too busy with Saekano: Flat. - Keiko Kurosawa as the Chief Animation Director is whatever. I’m not fan of anything he has previously done. Most of his works consists in battle shounens and whatnot. - Masaru Yokoyama handling the music is a big plus (best choice possible). If everything goes down the drain, at least the OST will be good. Overall, not the staff I envisioned (excluding the music), but it is what it is.... Decent enough, I suppose.... I hope the cast/VA is better. I’m still not sure how they’re going to handle this with the short amount of episodes they’ll have at their disposal (probably around 11).... There is 6 volumes (monthly publication) worth of content (and counting) and I can’t still really think of a good stopping point for it.... Also, I gotta say that I’m pretty disappointed that there still isn’t an animation/va PV yet; just another short-static PV which only saving grace was Masaru’s amazing music.... Also, no anime character designs sheets either (except that picture of Hanabi found in the new promotional poster that’s in their website). Frankly, at this point they should have more stuff to show, so what is the hold up?.... oh yea, I forgot, this is a noitaminA show, and for some reason they usually love putting these stuff at the very last moment. |

| The new PV looks decent enough and character designs look fine. I’m not hype as much as I would like to be, but I’m still looking forward to it to some degree. Sayuri doing the ED is kinda cool. I never thought she would be performing it, so that took me by surprise.... Never heard of 96Neko before (such a weird name; why not 69Neko instead?). A real shame really, but I guess to be expected the very moment the manga was announced to end soon and the fact it was a Noitamina series all along. Anyhow, I just hope they do justice to some scenes of the manga (at least the ones they are planning to adapt), even with the mandatory skipping of “some” of its content. Her singing is nice from what I heard from the PV, so I’m looking forward to its single whenever it's released... I also hope all goes well for her and she gets the chance to do more anime OP/ED in the future. |
