| Hey, I've got a good starting point save file in Silent Hill 2 now and the damage in that one can be counted as: 1 attack.from 'Spitters' (officially called 'Lying Figures') 2 attacks from 'Bubblehead Nurses' 1 hit during the first Pyramid Head battle Plus it's set at 1h and 1 min. Lots of freedom for getting 10 star rank. |

| Update for @Mkim and @NinjaTuna6 Well I tried again with 'baseline' file in Silent Hill 2, and I got 9.6 stars. I was one shooting kill and 11 fighting kills away from getting the 10 stars. And I also forgot to count how many combined kills I had with my second save file like a klutz. Only good news was that I only suffered 266 pts of damage, and that bein' said.. |

Okay then, @NinjaTuna6 and @Mkim With that time I could've done a few more shooting or melee kills in the streets beforehand, but that would have required me to use the first, 'baseline' file. Instead, I experimented with my second save and found that you can grind a few kills by intentionally screwing up the 'innocent man' puzzle in the labyrinth. A little time consuming, but it helped me salvage this run. I also skipped cutscenes a lot because I didn't know if watching them counted towards your time played, a la the Metal Gear Solid games. But now I can finally play the game normally whenever I get the urge to experience James Sunderland's harrowing journey again! Now I can proceed onward to 100%-ing...  |

You can't get it on lower difficulties. Silent Hill 1 seems to have stricter requirements (Under 2h, nearly half of the game's items, nigh-perfect weapon accuracy... that sounds insanely hardcore) and I probably won't do that for a long while. But Silent Hill 2 deserved to 10 starred because of the impact it left on my adolescence. I barely remember the Chibi:Robo DS game, 'specially since the game cartridge got lost during a move or something. Can't recall how I came to discover the GCN title and asked for it back in '06, but so far it's a solid childhood game. |

I don't usually fap, so I did aim for 'never again' but I don't have a clear goal as to what/why I am doing this. It does look quite fun. I watched the anime first and the game was still incredible, even though it follows the same plot. My advice would be to wait a couple months before playing the game (so you forget the finer details of the murders and such) and either play Danganronpa 2 (sequel with new characters, doesn't have an anime adaptation) before that (if you decide to finish the anime) or after that (if you don't). What you've seen of the anime covers the prologue and the first three chapters, so you've seen more than half of the entire game but haven't gotten to the biggest mystery yet; it's really up to you if you want to finish the anime or not. |
