| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was fun. Takeo, Yamato, and Saijou out for some fun while enjoying food. I just loved Saijou's chemistry with the both of them.  Lost count the # of times that Takeo admitted to himself that he loves Yamato lol. Saijou is an interesting character though, at least in trying to build relationships with others in particular with Takeo. |

| Absolutely beautiful and deep episode this week! Must've felt awful having feelings for someone who's already attached. I like how Takeo dealt with the situation, and how clear he was at expressing why he made the decision to reject Saijou too. For some reason this episode felt as though its a finale of some sort, coz of the feels and emotions throughout. Looking forward to next ep!!  This made me really hungry... Takeo is one lucky guy to have a gf that is so good at making confections!! |

| Slow start, but this really turned out to be a fantastic episode. I'm not too surprised that Saijou confessed, but I am surprised and relieved that the series dealt with it nice and quickly rather than letting it drag on. Takeo's monologues were great, though I don't think they were entirely necessary as all of it was easy enough to infer anyway. At this point, I want to see some more development for Suna more than anything else. |

| This was a nice episode, Saijou fit in nicely with them even though it was her first time hanging out with them. It was also nice to see her confess to Takeo, that takes guts knowing that you'll get rejected but doing it anyway. I wish Ai did that.....and I really want Suna to get a girlfriend |

| Great episode, and I think it's significant that Suna paid so much attention to Saijou in the last two episodes. Usually he barely seems to notice girls, but not only did he interact with her quite a bit, he actually was concerned about how she was handling the inevitable heartbreak. The bond between Takeo and Yamato is probably unbreakable so the main loose end seems to be Suna right now. Saijou is actually one of the most attractive relationship threats I've seen in shoujo in terms of personality, so it would be nice if she realizes that the bro of the one she loved is actually pretty awesome in his own right. Oh, and I want to see what's happening between best girl Ai and Oda right now... |

| I would be pleased even if this was the last episode of the series, I mean this was cuteness overload ! The tsuki-da counter broke and he even said it to Yamato instead of talking to himself. Sunakawa keeping a strong eye on Saijo the whole episode reveals how great of a wingman and friend of Takeo he is. Finally, the resolute Takeo putting his feelings into words was the final cherry on top of this cake of an episode :) |

| These two Saijou episodes were really rushed. They even skipped entire scenes, like the field trip they instead mentioned for literally one line. I'm sad they skipped that too because it had a really nice picture of Takeo's profile in the manga and there's a cute part where he helps with getting off the train at a busy station. This really needed three episodes. I'm also pretty sad that they seem to be moving a lot of lines to internal monologue instead of having them said out loud. There were also just a lot of minor changes like Saijou finding that picture of Takeo herself instead of her friend handing it to her to tease her. |
| Damn it, I kind of like Saijou more, too. Yamato is the nicest girl ever, but Saijou has more depth. Great episode, nonetheless. 5/5 |
| I really like Saijou as a character. Totally didn't expect her to confess in the ep immediately after what happened last ep :O Liking her interactions with Suna too. I would totally like them to hook up >.< And man do I just love Takeo's running scenes XD |

| I like Yamato but I think I like Saijou better. She seems to have more to offer than Yamato. Yamato is a bit shallow and the lack in advance in their relationship somehow bothers me. Still very cute, fun and hilarious as always. I love this anime! |
| Hmmm, well seems like this mini-arc with Saijou concluded decently quickly. Didn't think she would confess her true feelings so soon. Takeo stands firm and sticks with Yamato -- good for him. Also, Suna is the best bro, whether if it's for Takeo or for any person. Though Takeo and Yamato's romance is fun, Suna deserves some romance in his life too. |

| Saijou not only confessing but also at the end still wanting to get to know Takeo was quite the scene. Suna looking out for Saijou was somewhat surprising, just the extent he went to think of her perspective was quite something. Liked how Takeo used "aishiteru" though he didn't say it out loud. Casting away all doubts for everyone, basically. |

| @ Fatefull Love Actually he did use "aishiteru" aloud to Yamato and she reciprocated. It's made more clear in the manga, but even in the anime the last exchange of "I love you" is shown to be said aloud. (For those who don't follow the subtleties of Japanese language and translations this is a significant upping of the ante in the relationship.) I think we're ready to move beyond the hand-holding stage, but I wonder if it will fall upon Yamato to make the first move again. |

Man if only Ai confessed to takeo like that. Saijou was really brave confessing to him when he had a girlfriend. If only she confessed before YAMATO asked him out!!! |

| I dunno. I like Saijo, maybe even more than Yamato because of effort she put into it. Her confession was nice. But they made her look very pathetic in her rejection and in previous confrontation by Suna. I was kinda hoping this thing will continue for some time, even to the point to make Gouda torn between two girls but let's face it, in this series something more than misunderstanding is no-no. I guess she'll disappear now, and that's shame. She really was only plot device :/ |

A while ago, I confessed to a girl that I know didn't "love" me or like me as a friend. She didn't have a bf at the time but I knew she wouldn't reciprocate the feelings, but it was something I did have to get off my chest. Ultimately, we still ended up becoming really good friends even though she rejected my feelings...and that's the same thing I get out of Takeo and Saijou. A lot of times unreciprocated feelings aren't portrayed well in anime, but sometimes positive things do come out of them. I think this episode did a MASTERFUL job of highlighting that. |

| I really liked this episode from pretty much everyone's character standpoint, but especially Sunakawa. Suna gave Saijou the push she needed, but also supported her when she needed it most. Suna is just the ultimate good guy, but as others have alluded to, I get the impression that he himself likes Saijou and doesn't treat her the same way as a lot of other girls. I certainly wouldn't mind Suna and Saijou hooking up. They'd make for an interesting couple considering their personalities. |

| Amazing episode. My favorite so far. I felt so sorry for Mariya. ;w; But Takeo handeled the situation like a real man. I also loved that scene at the end with Takeo and Rinko in the sun set. Suna is so awesome, I wanna see him having a girlfriend. How about Mariya? ;) |

| Takeo's monologues was really touching and honest, I like how Saijou accepts the fact that he loves Yamato a lot, also Suna was really cool that was pretty nice of him getting concerned for Saijou feelings and helping her, glad they're getting along very well, and Suna is actually changing, I mean he didn't seem like someone who would get involved with anyone beside Takeo but now he's showing more and more of his sweet side to other friends as well |
| My "Suki da!" radar was on point this episode xD Takeo is so predictable. I honestly wish I could meet a guy with his earnest personality. Yamato is a lucky girl indeed. Felt bad for Saijou but I'm sure she'll find a good guy. Her swollen eyes were hilarious! Suna, still being the best friend a guy could ask for. Also for those that want Suna x Saijou to happen...why? That's so predictable. Suna can find his own chick, not Takeo's leftovers (dry, sorry Saijou)--besides they didn't have any real chemistry. |

We are talking late game / end game stuff though, because Saijou needs time to get over Taeko and Suna is not intereseted right *now*, he just may be open to it happening later after some further development. Good setup here with their interaction, "will I love again?" lines, Takeo's line at the end (next time you fall in love, I will do what I can to help"). Therefore, it doesn't matter in the manga that Subtle difference, but seems like Suna smiled more in the manga in this scene (image): |
