| Someone said that this puts Ufotable works to shame, hope it was sarcasm, cause... this is really bad. The characters look really childish more than intended, they have weird eyes, the only part with juicy animation was the hurricane of fire and nothing more was interesting I think. |
| First impression before airing...this might be good...after watching episode one, what a trash series this is. I thought this series will be good, but no...this is one of the worst series this season. The MC is such a P***SY...hate these kind of MC the most. Can't even finish it. DROP 2/10 worst of this season. |

| It would be cool to see some real aspects of an RPG game session in the episodes (like some dices rolling around deciding the way of things and/or some more detail on the character creation parts). The way this story can be handled opens up so much potential, yet the producers went for a normal story-telling execution. I'm disappointed, to be honest. It doesn't make the overall series bad, it's just a tremendous pile of wasted potential if it stays like this. You just can't be happy being another fantasy-action story in a world full of fantasy-action stories. You need to be different, man. |

| Yay, first drop of the season. I was honestly wondering why so many people were dropping it most of the way through - sure, it was obviously flawed in so many ways but there was potential to be worth watching at least. But after that scene where they started randomly killing all the islanders things deteriorated... and deteriorated... and deteriorated. I'm not wondering any more. As an aside: 3 children in front of you. - One is a boy who is charging at you in an attempt to attack you - One is a girl who is telling you to leave this boy alone - One is a boy who has taken the item that you need to have in order to complete your goal and who you have reason to believe is the cause of the current rebellion. You have three options for each - kick aside, kill, and leave alone. Surely you do not choose the girl and only the girl to kill? |

| Well that was ... interesting. I agree a lot of info is being dumped - basically, there was a war, Ibuki's parents died, he's the heir now, and oh yeah there are dragons. Well, I mean, let's be honest ... I'm mostly watching for the dragons XD Really not a huge fan of Ibuki >_< He makes a "contract" with the Red Dragon and has to sacrifice his friend ... welp. I'm hoping the other characters will make it more interesting (the general, Black Dragon guy, and the girl with ears). Otherwise it's pretty cliched so far, but at least the art is pretty! Or well, except the characters, those are some pretty weird designs O_o I really liked the ED though! Hoping the next episode is better than this one :P |

| A sacrifice of a best friend in the first episode...the MC it's not very cool for now, annoying I would say. Many characters, I am sure some of them are going to be pretty cool...gonna try some episodes. |

| I like the setting and the art style. Near the end, I actually enjoyed the episode. The "exposition" (if you could even call it that) up until the riot in the town was pretty boring though. I think I'm gonna stick with this one. |
| Bad start. At least they explained that they're stuck between a war and that the main character wants to protect people. Animation quality was hurt, a good bunch of the scenes flowed horribly with each other. I'm expecting this to be better as things move along. Only thing I don't like is the way they draw the eyes. It's really a really 'hard' art style in my opinion, hard on the viewers eyes. Character designs are a bit janky also. Hope for this anime 700/1000 |
| Eh...tried this, and was underwhelmed. The plot was quite interesting, but the production and animation was not good enough at all. Reminds me of Seraph, and a dumbed down one at that. Will not continue. |

| I find myself incredibly frustrated with the scene to scene transitions. They're so disjointed and flow so poorly that, despite the content of the scenes themselves, it makes me angry just watching this. It's not just 1 or 2 scenes either. I found instances of this littered throughout the episode, and in my opinion it's very distracting. Assuming this is any hint of what's to come in this series, then I don't think I'm going to enjoy this very much. |

MC can have any wish, MC said he wanted Mashiro to be saved... the dragon agreed, so....... why she is the sacrifice...? Wtf..? The dragon lied? I didn't see anything that could say that.
