This was another great episode. I liked the part where Totosai was hiding behind a wall. LOL
Next week's episode is bringing us closer to Seeshomoru's adquisition of his own weapon. I hope that the animation is as good as it was on ep 13.
Byakura is ata the place Sesshoumaru fought before. When he put his staff on the ground, many insects?/weird stuff came to live! He asked them what happened. They talked about Sesshoumaru's battle against meidou guy.
Sesshoumaru's gone without Jaken, Rin and Kohaku. He feels sad for Sesshoumaru's Tenseiga. Jaken knows some idea where he went, though.
Sesshoumaru went for Totosai.
Back to Jaken, Rin, and Kohaku, Kohaku sensed something. He sensed something getting near because his shikon no kakera is darken. He told them to escape, but Naraku is already there.
Totosai told him whatever that meidou guy told him, he still mastered the skill.
Kohaku tries to escape from Naraku, who came to get the last shikon no kakera from him since Kikyou, who protected him, is no longer here. When Naraku was going to get it, there was a kekkai that protected from Naraku's getting it.
Sesshoumaru already knows the full intention of his father's purpose. Mastering the skill and getting Tenseiga absorbed back to Tessaiga again.
Totosai said while Sesshoumaru thinking that his father's favorite being Inuyasha, he doesn't realize the deeper plan that his father thought.
Kohaku is thinking about the light that protected shikon no kakera. Both Kohaku and Naraku know that it's Kikyou's doing. Naraku chased after them and told them what Kikyou did to the shikon no tama (having purity in there). Now Naraku is intended to kill Kohaku (cut his body separate) and get the kakera to make dirty out of it.
Inuyasha and others saw Naraku's turnado and Kagome sensed Kohaku, too. They went to chase them. Inuyasha doesn't sense Sesshoumaru, though. Byakuya stopped them from chasing them. The plants has shouki it spread after Inuyasha's kaze no kizu and Miroku used his kazaana.
Inuyasha feels bad for Miroku because he no longer feels pain. They are now chasing after them.
Kohaku wanted to let them escape, but Naraku gets them involved and they are now in the evil air. Kohaku gave Rin the mask. Naraku's real intention is not like when he killed his family, but to kill himself! Sango saved him on time. Naraku is talking Sango out of saving Kohaku because he has guilt and avoiding her. Sango knows about that truth, but it's because under Naraku's control.
Naraku strengthened shouki and Kohaku is still in his control. Sango attacked him with brand new hiraigotsu and Naraku underestimated it. After the damage, he sensed another type of poison. After two damages, he got attacked by Inuyasha's kongousouha. Even for their attacks, Naraku got away. Now Sango understood what that drunk god said.
Jaken is under Inuyasha's feet.
Kohaku is unconscious.
Naraku, back from the battle, gave Kanna's mirror shard to Byakuya so that he can give it to Sesshoumaru.
Kagome is purifying his kakera and told her about the light. Kagome remembers about the image Kanna showed her. She, too, believes that Kikyou's power is still within the tama.
Sango asked the important thing. Even if the kakera is still under Kikyou's protection, he still can use the kakera to defeat Naraku. Rin informed about the danger he almost had, to cut his head.
Inuyasha told Sango to say straightly that he's acting ruthless. There's no fault for Kohaku because only weaklings are there (without Sesshoumaru's protection) when Naraku came to attack them. Jaken is shocked and Rin emphasized his smallness. Sango agrees with Inuyasha because Kohaku's weak that he cannot fight alone. Inuyasha and Shippo are jealous of Kohaku because the girls are being nice to him, while Miroku is alone, checking on his scar and worrying that he would live til the end.
I ♥Two Syaorans from Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE and TRC!!!
waaa it was so scary to think about kohaku's head TT-TT. everyone have to kill him now, he alwas escapes!! he's so coward ¬¬.
byakuya makes me laugh XD
Flaming Hiraikotsu <3 I lol'd when I saw Naraku get hit by Sango. He was so confident she couldn't even scratch him and then poof he's torn in half with a dumb look on his face xD
Damn, looks like the body Moryomaru make for Naraku is already destroyed pretty much. Where will Naraku find another body now? And what's the total count? How many times has Naraku created a new body? I think it's been atleast 3.
Sango is amazing!! One of my favorite characters from the series just keeps getting better ^_^
So the Tenseiga was cast off Tessaiga so that Sesshomaru could master Meido Zangetsuha, and then the Tenseiga would be reabsorbed into Tessaiga making it one sword again. I can understand how Sesshomaru would be upset about that...But I'm sure Inutaisho didn't plan to give Fluffy the short end of the stick. (Lol dog pun intended).
InuYasha is going full demon next episode!! Can't wait! I love how cool InuYasha and Sesshomaru are. I fan girl like crazy over them. *ahem*
I like how Rin is more vocal now. She has more airtime too, and that's great because she's adorable and has a cute personality. I like episodes when Rin meets up with InuYasha's team for some reason too. Too bad Sesshomaru left Rin with the Naraku magnet though. Seems like he would have known better.
Update: Did anyone else notice that Sesshomaru got his sleeve back? In the last episode his sleeve got chopped off by Shishinki's Meido. What is it with all the characters clothes regenerating in this anime? I wish MY clothes could do that. xD
I hate that Naraku condition where he always can scape if something surprise him and the thing is that there may be an explanation but come on, they explode that.
Like episode 13, this was another terrible episode. Sesshomaru has developed so much as a character over the course of the entire series, he's already the most intelligent protagonist. So now Takahashi has him revert back to his season 1 weaknesses so she can keep dragging out the plot?
Why?
Sesshomaru, out of everyone, abandons Rin and jewel shard magnet Kohaku so he can fall into the same Naraku trap that he fell for during Season 1? Terrible terrible writing and terrible episode. It's just like how Inuyasha spent all of season 6 looking for the last jewel shard, spent all of season 7 fighting to get it, and then in the first episode of Final Act, Kagome just trips and it falls on the ground and gets picked up by one of Hakudoshi's wasps. Awful, lazy writing.
These last two episodes and the next one really started to ruin the series for me. Don't even get me started on Naraku chasing Kohaku for 15 minutes while Sango and her brother scream "Aneue!" and "Kohaku!" back and forth at each other in slow motion.
and once again naraku had been merely defeated and ran away minute before he will died entirely, i really wonder how much times this is going to be, i lost the times it happened already....
finally hiraikotsu isn't useless human weapon but strong at least as kagome's sacred arrows.
and miroku is behaving foolish from the start of the series to absorb miasma and demonic power...
and i really not like the development on sesshomaru, from being holding 2 swords he went down to tenseiga and then needs to hurting his pride to complete it, i liked him more with tokijin, seems next episode going to fix it.
Naraku has always demonstrated how clever he is throughout the series. However, he always gets caught off guard by things he doesn't expect and this episode is yet another example.
Naraku also seemed uncharacteristically careless here. Of course, he still took cautious measures by waiting for Sesshomaru to be out of the picture and getting Byakuya to fend off everyone else, but pursuing Kohaku directly didn't strike me as something he would usually do, especially since he is now more vulnerable due to having possession of his heart again. Naraku probably feels more confident regardless because he is out to get the last shard and thus he feels the battle is almost over.
It is thanks to Naraku's unwavering confidence that he hasn't begun to expect the unexpected, and of course that's going to be part of what leads to his demise.
