| Saber got rekt just like she needed to be. Kuzuki best man. The projection sequence was gorgeous too, but I do realize it would've been even better if there'd been at the very least a tiny bit of foreshadowing in the previous episodes. Nevermind, still great. And I agree with Maerow : ufo's Shirou looks terrifically good, but without that "generic bishie" vibe anime boys who're supposed to be attractive usually give off. |

| The dream was pretty damn cool, but it would've been better if it'd been Archer saying the chant in English. The flashbacks looked awesome. The fact that Rin said the chant was kind of interesting in its own way though, because it emphasizes the fact that she'd seen it in her dreams before. Like other people, I think the animation of Shirou's projection was a bit too flashy and he twisted a bit too much. It could have looked amazing if they'd been more subtle - they could have shown his magical circuits briefly, then them going crazy inside his body, and his body trembling or something. His limbs jerking and thrashing around didn't look too good. Still, that moment was really epic. Maybe a bit of a shounen-like development for those who haven't read Fate, but I don't care about that. This episode wasn't that faithful to the novel - like Rin eavesdropping scene, which didn't take place in the novel -, but it was great anyway. Maybe they wanted to keep that part short to fit it all in. I mean, they even skipped the op this time around. VanishingKira said: Nice,a good episode for once. The projection technique is presented and showcased extensively in Fate - which you must read before UBW in the novel - along with the fact that Shirou can perform it. In other words, it looks like an asspull only if you skipped Fate. UBW is the second part of the novel, which wasn't written for anime viewers. So basically, you could critize the adaptation, but the story as a whole (Fate + UBW + HF) is perfectly fine in that regard. |

| Shirou vs Kuzuki was definitely the best part of the chapter. The animation, soundtrack and build up for that moment was incredible. Besides that, Archer's flashback and sexy-blonde-who-cannot-be-named-here appearance were the highlights of the episode. Certainly a lot better than last week one and it will only get better from here if they keep the quality that they have shown thus far. |

If they didn't skip the OP, then it definitely was the site, but they episode is 23 minutes and 40 seconds long, just like any other episode... so they DID make it longer. And yeah, I remember quite well Issei didn't say anything about caster in the other episode. My point is, they didn't need to change the scene like that because they still talk about her again anyway iirc. So my guess is they wanted to keep things shorter and thought that change was fitting. |

| What a fantastic episode. Loved every minute of the series so far. Every little bit of it. Infinitely times better than the original adaption, no doubt. I'm starting to even like this more than Zero, but I can't be too sure yet. They're about even right now for me. |

She had a plan for Saber, having to do with her dagger which will be revealed eventually. Also those events actually occur around the same time, with Kuzuki's fight being more fast paced than Caster approaching Saber, so she was distracted by it and didn't have time to execute said plan. Rin said she left Archer at home; to keep him away from Caster (and Shirou). |

We can only assume Caster and Saber froze in time during that battle. Jokes aside, even if it's no excuse, you'll understand more about Caster as the story goes on. Since this is not a visual novel, the only option you guys have is to be patient and wait. If you pay attention to the conversation between Rin and Archer, you'll see more than one reason for Rin not to bring him along. She doesn't say those things to Shirou when he asks her about that though, so you could say they're subtle reasons, but they're clearly there. |
