| I was a little surprised when I originally saw the first episode. Things definitely moved quickly along. Suppose all the emotions that came with that situation and the fact both were probably still a little drunk helped the end result. |
| Alcohol and shock can do that to people. Yeah, I agree with many that he did take advantage of her, but she didn't seem to mind. If she did she they wouldn't have even gotten as far as a kiss. You got lucky one Matsumaru, don't push it. |

| wow so the dude got dumped, met someone else, she was in a fire, they went back to his place and got it on..... all in one episode xD not that i mind, with it being only 9 eps i suppose it's going to be like that! I agree though Fumihiko was a tad bit of a jerk taking advantage and being all nice, but then Aka wasn't exactly pushing him away either, i agree though.. how she is 20 is beyond me! It was kinda awkward to watch, she looks in her teens! |

In a way she was put into a shock seeing that her house went in flames and lost everything. That being said her mental state was most vulnerable and in a way, just didn't care about anything. Here is when she was on the swings at the fire scene. Clearly she was in shock as she seemed a bit out of her mind at the time. Fumihiko clearly took advantage of her, hes the one that decided to go for a hug, its fine if its just a hug as its a way to comfort someone who is depressed, but the way I see, hes the one that wanted more and went for the kiss and even started undressing her BEFORE even introducing their names (like as if names and remembering who the person he'll sleep with is important to this guy). First episode, this guy in my opinion is quite disgusting. |

| I don't think it's that clear cut. From the context of the scene, he went in to hug her because she was crying and he felt bad. If it wasn't for her bursting into tears a minute prior, he was going to leave and let her go to sleep. Also, he didn't go in for a kiss without at least SOME prompt. When she was being hugged, she said she feels warm, started to put her arms on him, leaned forward slightly and brought her face close to his. I'm not saying they couldn't have handled it differently, but it doesn't seem like either person regretted it, even if it was in a moment of sadness or passion. |
| it's called real life. she wanted comfort, he gave it to her. one night stand is not an abstract concept (here at least it becomes more than that). |

| Oh come on. He meets this random, weird, annoying girl. When he hears sirens he automatically assumes that it's her, goes to her apartment which is on fire, and offers to let her live at his house despite the fact he doesn't even know her name! What girl would accept a complete stranger offering you to live at your house. And then of course they kiss despite they don't even know each other. This is one of the worst first episodes of an anime I have seen. You just cannot rush the couple meeting like that. |

| Whoa I loved this anime after watching first 6 minutes :D Art is kinda low quality, but I couldn't find HD version and if its from 2006 then I can turn a blind eye on that. I searched for that kind of story in anime for some time :) btw to all people who say he did bad for taking advantage of her on first night - are you jealous? Most man would do the same after that moment when their eyes met. They were on a date also the same day, and as you can see she didn't cry for her house but for her hobby items only, you can see she is a positive and carefree person so I think he only helped her release her emotions. Also, I don't think he intended to have sex with her before they hugged on bed. EDIT after I've rewatched this is the best chapter :D the first 6 minutes are masterpiece! How she talks to a stranger about tickets soooo kawaii :) |
