im learning japanese on my own and im doing fine so wat is season 3 gonna be called? and it would be cool to see Keiichi and Rena's past incidents but ppl better die in it like in s1

Akasaka's wife / Rena's mom, I am pretty sure.

How should Rena be the daughter of Akasaka's wife? I mean, when the baby was born, Akasaka was in Hinamizawa even talking to Rika!
So Rena would have been younger than Rika - which is obviously not the case. ;]

Yeah, I can't wait for this. I am though what's going to happen, I thought it was pretty much over with the end of season 2. I haven't played the game or done any type of looking things up, so I'm speaking with only having watched the first two seasons and the special, and the knowledge that there is going to be a third season.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei (OAV) is exactly about a world where the bloody killing never began and Keiichi never came :D. I can't wait until the release in December!!!

ALSO!!!!!!!!!! I could have SWORN that in one of the episodes - actually the Satoko episode in season 1, when she is a little girl, there is this little boy playing with them that looks EXACTLY like Keiichi... I mean, he wears the white shirt and green pants, it looks exactly like him.

And! In the beginning of season 1, Keiichi just got back from being away for 2 days and he says he was at a relatives' funeral, but I bet he wasn't really there... where was he?

And why do they always shade out his parents faces? =o

in the manga they dont shade out his parents faces lol his dad looks really weird, but i agree with you there are still alot of answers we need to know, i found this website that has info on the 3 season but its in japannese but it has pictures though http://www.oyashirosama.com/web/rei/ i hope it helps some
