| "Tami ga Yuri" My lack of vocab made me think weird thoughts for a while there xD The feels :( Hanayamata never fails to amuse me. At first, I thought this was some cliche anime that was going to be about "Yosakoi is my life, nothing else!" But this anime is really unique. I knew Hana's mother was going to bring her back to the US, but I never thought that Hana would really go. And I thought Hana's mother was the "Villain-type" character here, so glad it's not. Naru, Tami, Yaya, and Machi all went to the airport to go see Naru. I thought they were going to scream "HANA HANA" like most anime do when searching for someone, and I thought they were going to stop Hana from going. They kept being realistic there :D One of the best sports/dance/idol/card-themed anime I've ever seen :'D |

| Nice beginning......but super sad ending! D: So, we get to see the girls practicing in school swimsuits.... WOOT! That was a nice treat. x3 And then.....something was going on with Hana.... :( It turns out, she was moving back to the states with her mom..... But then....what about...the festival... ;_; No way is Hana gonna leave all her friends? They practiced a long time so that all 5 of them can perform really well in the festival...... Oh man, that preview....ARGH!! I want to see the final episode so bad! D: |

Ciara said: I like your explanation about choosing family over her friends but it would be better if they gave some more foreshadowing to that (it just happened in this episode to be honest, at least I feel like it did) and made a better excuse to why Hana must fly ASAP to America instead of staying one week longer with her Dad. Kinda "hand-waved plot point" if you ask me. I'm pretty sure they did explain it. Moving like that + moving to another school is not an easy thing to do. You need to take care of some paperwork. It won't be done for a day, so Hana needs to go to America ASAP. But I'll be really disappointed if Hana goes back to Japan in the next episode just for Yosakoi. I mean that would really ruined the mood. But hey, as you said, I won't let this ruin the show for me. |
| Yosakoi in swimsuits? Yes please. I was a bit mixed on how they were going to handle the drama with Hana but I'm both surprised and glad that they didn't pull a fast one and convince her to stay. Although it's probably safe to say that she's going to return at the last minute next episode. On the slim chance that they don't though, I'll give 'em props for being able to stay away from that cliche as I feel it will leave a bigger impression if they work with this twist from here. |

| Hana's mom looked really beautiful. Monk x Sally ship sails on its own! Really liked them searching for Hana. Wait- she is gonna leave? Now that was unexpected. I wish she comes back again. And Naru, I am so proud of you! Instead of getting depressed, she was more focused on practicing, so that she could fulfill Hana's wish. Really beautiful episode. |

| Since I had already watched this when it first aired I knew what would happen, but that made it a little harder to watch episode 11 again. I have to rate this EP a 10/10. It could have been very cliched, but instead, this was a very moving 24 minutes. I'm by no means fluent in Japanese, but the voice acting seemed heartfelt and convincing to me. Though Hana is very childlike in the previous episodes, here she shows maturity and self-sacrifice for the sake of her family. Naru also has grown considerably and comforts Hana in her time of heartache. I thought this reversal of roles was a nice touch, since Naru had often been the girl that needed someone to lean on. I also liked how the characters reacted to Hana's letter in ways compatible with their personalities. Yaya, the red rose and most passionate, is the girl of action in this case. It's clear that, despite herself, she has come to love ( in the real way, not the romantic way) Hana, but of course she expresses these feelings Tsundere fashion. I kept a dry eye throughout, until the ED began to play and my eyes were wet, my cheeks flushed, and I felt a catch in my throat. |

| 5/5 Not a bad episode of this Hanadramata. The atmosphere was so engaging, that of tears I've shed a bit, perfect! But the plot is not anything innovative, I must say. In addition to the narrative, to be good, they are also the drawings at the highest levels. Animation and good characters well managed this time. Too bad this series is already over, I hate anime so short. ThreePointer said: The nosebleeds The friendships The feels This anime is amazing for a simple slice of life!  Somewhere it took the right step to be one of the better cute girls doing cute things anime I seen ever! One more episode T_T Yesss ! I agree. |

| Why does this episode remind me so much of episodes 12-13 of the first season of Love Live...? T_T Yet, compared to the LL episodes, this one strangely felt more peaceful... The next episode's title, though, seems to foreshadow that Hana will return (do not spoil!!)... |

| Talk about forced drama. The dad's staying for a bit so surely she could too. It's only a week to go before the festival. Still brought tears to my eyes though. Also this episode would be totally pointless if she came back in time for the festival for some reason. Let's find out shall we (presses play button). |

| wow the feels.. what an emotional episode and it didnt even rely on melodrama its just pure emotion and finally we get Hana's characterization and development which made her a lot more likeable. wow what a great show lol i dont even know what else to say, just amazing. im torn if i want Hana back next ep or if its better if shes not, i wonder how its gonna play out. excited for the last ep! |
