Anyway, fantastic episode! Can't wait for the climax! Touka's reaction to Kaneki getting his shit fucked up and taken away was priceless. Please, PLEASE don't end in a cliffhanger. Cliffhangers ruin anime for me.

I also want to witness the most Awaited development where Kaneki becomes a badass.Every manga reader wants to see it in Animated form even though the adaptation is pretty Trashy.

They have two episodes left and many chapters to adapt. They have also bothered to introduce all those characters. They are gonna have to cut stuff out and adapt the really important stuff, imagine all the stuff that will be left hanging.
If they do a second season I'll be mad, they cut out so much development and foreshadowing. Kaneki's character is really just 'there' most of the time. Anime only watchers find him boring, there's no hint to what he will become. His character in the manga has been so well thought out but here it's so messy.

I can't believe how much they've rushed this show! It could have been something real special, instead they're screwing it up so bad.... just hoping they leave it on a cliffhanger and announce a second season, ala SNK. Two episodes isn't even enough to cover this arc...

Rushing is the least of our worries.Its straight up butchering of the story.
Its fine and dandy if you don't know anything about the source material.Because the Source material is insanely good and Just seeing it being Represented to Anime only viewers with that Half assed adaptation is killing me.

I seen a lot of ignorant anime only viewers who dropped Tokyo ghoul half way through saying it was garbage,etc.
If only they've known the Manga before hand they swallow their words right back.
I should know since I jumped Straight to reading the manga After watching Episode 1.

Think of it this way.If you're impressed by the s--tty adaptation alone just imagine The manga.
