Lisa makes for one adorable terrorist. Glad she finally got in on the action; just too bad that Five seems hell-bent on making her (and Twelve and Nine) regret it.

Five is even crazier than I thought and I love it. I seriously doubt she's with the FBI though; or that those guys with her are FBI considering they just let her bring an actual bomb, that could potentially kill hundreds/thousands of people, to an airport (and then there's the whole "locking a teenage girl in a plane with said bomb" thing).

Also, Shibazaki is such a badass (even though he was totally used by Nine this episode). That little wave by Nine and the slow drive away were funny.

Can't wait for next week. 5/5

Humm, I have to say that I really do not like where this seems to be heading towards. It would have been nice if Lisa hadn't "just happened" to attract 5's attention. It would have been better if the story didn't waste a couple of episodes showing how "noble" our brave heroes really are. And it would have been far far better if they hadn't used the old "tape delay" gambit where 9 "tricks" 5. These and a couple of other things point towards the ending I have been dreading, the "happy one".

Its not to say that I dislike "happy endings", but in the context of how this show began it would be extremely disappointing.

Now there is still plenty of time for this show to recover, but if I were a betting man, I would not take the over on 6 rating at the end (based on a true 1-10, not the Mal 7-10 range :-), even though up until last episode I was around an 8.

This. Even with some well wished character development, I'd like the story to wrap up and not have continuations or else it'd die.

I want plot resolution. And maybe we can get an OVA. MAYBE.

Although I am still craving redeeming qualities in the remaining 4 episodes.

Really though, I think four episodes is possible to redeem it combine with the fact that I don't expect a happy ending.

[...].. and the way she found Lisa was ridiculous and convenient at best, why does it look odd that LISA is running away from a fire? So many other people did as well. Unless she's psychic or something. Again I mention, NO ONE HAS AN ISSUE with the shit going down in this airport? Not even the the Japanese government? She was literally going to bomb the terminal for their largest airport FFS.

Like I also mentioned last week, why didn't she just capture them when they were in the terminal? She even orders the dudes to capture twelve when he starts avoiding cameras.. what was the end game here? It was so fucking stupid. People shit on other shows for having cartoon villains like akame but this show.. I think she is worse than any villain out of there so far.

It's not psychic.. but the fear an amateur has. It was the exact time the screen glitched too. Other's would run away from the fire but calm down. She kept runnin through the terminal. It's behavioural observation - that's a tactic to figure out if anyone is ready/nervous to cause danger. Police are trained to observe the body language of anyone attempting to break the law. And Lisa kept running and running.

That part I agree.. the hell can NOONE have an issue with monitors being hijacked?? You're in a frikkin airport! The staff may be informed that the police are doing it, but how would the passengers know? I mean.. atleast ppl will be whisperin about that oddity or ask someone what's goin on. They just showed one couple who couldn't care less. Pff. Even though the screens were temporarily used, it doesn;t make sense. And can they even really do that to an elevator panel?? Sure, it looks cool, but that was just was soo.. wtf.

And Five's not arresting cos she wants that game. But more than that, they have NO evidence whatsoever that it's them. So even if they got arrested, what proof do they have? Five is the only one who KNOWS them, but that's not conclusive evidence that it REALLY is them. They left no traces till now. Pinning the bomb with murders at them, she can maybe manipulate a few things.. but she's enjoyin it anyway.

This. Everything.

The only thing about the monitors is maybe they are confused or the screen is glitching. Or they ask the staf and they respond that the police are testing or the sorts. Again, assumptions.

Kept checking to see how much time had elapsed so that's a good sign.

This show is still as beautiful as ever, which is a shame because nothing much seems to be happening (thanks to not enough focus on the characters).

Summer and Winter really are the cursed seasons for anime....

It looks like Shibazaki and his colleagues have arrived at the airport hmm.

I must say that Twelve's skills really impressed me this episode.

Wooohooo! Time to see Sphinx Number 3 in action!

It looks like Five is already onto Lisa... that's what you get for being so scared and making mistakes, but you can't blame a novice...

Ah, that Clarence guy already caught Lisa T.T

Nine and Twelve could request assistance from Shibazaki and the detectives in my opinion :/

Holy crap they actually did it XD.

For some odd reason Five reminds me of Rook from Phi-Brain lol.

Nine's salute towards Shibazaki at the end was hilarious XD.

LOL, Five is one crazy bitch...

This episode was really intense and it's rather sad that they're going to be only 11 episode... I can only hope for a 2nd season or something :/

This episode was simply amazing. What a thrilling, intense episode. That face she made at the end with Lisa's ID was creepy. Seems like some intense stuff is going to go down very soon.

It was also cool to see that Nine has emotions for Lisa. I'm glad they starting going from their point of view more.

An amateur terrorist who bows in apology to people she bumps into? She looked more like a girl running towards a gate (or train) or after someone than a terrorist, no matter how much an amateur.

That aside, what I disliked like more was the big "THIS IS FORESHADOWING, THIS IS FORESHADOWING" the scene was meant to broadcast. It is similar to the "clues" becoming increasingly obvious.

Not to mention that 5 is supposed to be some genius hacker (at least she out did 9), so to have her fall for such a predictable ploy further confirms that the writer is running out of ideas.

I am not here to troll, I have been relatively positive up until this point, but when a show exhausts my "benefit of the doubt" line, I turn a but surly. It was pushed last week, but I wanted to see if this week showed improvement, unfortunately it didn't.

Skudoops: agree on the "own lets blow up Haneda and blame the terrorist" absurdity (though of course they are blaming that on the FBI in keeping with the stupid meme that the US is always itching to take over Japan). It's just dumb.

Such a good episode. Both terrorists and police are rewarded one point for cooperation.
Terrorists: 4, Police: 2, Five: 1.

But I dont see the fire in the bathroom was necessary... If they needed a distraction so 5 wouldnt notice the camera footage shift, then Im sure 12 couldve done something in the same electrical room.

And why couldnt Lisa act a little damn calm after lighting the bathroom on fire?

Wow, that was INTENSE...

Overall, I really enjoyed the episode. The series is still going strong for me.

However, some plot holes are rather apparet in this episode.

Like what's been already mentioned, Five seems to be able to do absolutely anythig she wants. I find it very annoyig to believe that a foreign agency can just take over Japan's Police and defence, and even have the authority to blow up an airport... of course, it made for a great episode, but it's a bit too fantastic of a set up xp

I also don't understand her reasoning behind making nine and twelve play that game. It seems so pointless and once agn makes me wonder why the Japanese govt and FBI ppl even bother to humour her childish whims...

I mean, what would be the conclusion she wanted?? Let nine solve the riddle, then blow the whole airport up n kill them?

I also dont get how the game works... how did nine indicate his moves? O.O...

Meh, this episode was really nice to watch, but the inconaistencies irked me a bit, since most of the previous episodes were pretty realistic (imo)... actually, things started getig a bit annoying when five showed up xp...

Remember episode four when they were looking at Shibazaki's file from the police Department?

There you go.

Also, I highly bout they'd put Shibazaki as Lisa's father. I mean, the police would record everything and past history so when they see it, they'd say get out. They don't want any part of her. However, they kept her. I think she's the guy who committed suicide and the case that brought the detective to archives.

Another great episode. There were some little drawbacks (like Shibazaki being able to go through specops so easily or that noone stopped them at the airport while they were running) but I enjoyed it all along. It was itense, and satisfying to watch.

I am starting to think that Lisa doesn't want to catched them, what she wants is to kick their ass and she leaves them to lead her to plutonium.

Sphinx 1 conversation with Shibazaki was the first step, I wonder what the next one will be.

And now Lisa will become their weakness for Five to use.

Die Hard 2 episode. Pretty intense stuff though, I liked this episode. Shibazaki is a cool character, I really hope he doesn't get a shitty resolution to focus on the brats.

The engrish at the beginning was mind blowing. I wish they'd just stuck to japanese, with the FBI detachment being some sort of interpreter squad who were capable of speaking japanese.

Lisa finally does something <3 (besides burn food! :D)

Damn, I need Lisa and Twelve to kiss or something... It's been a long time since I've shipped a pair this hard :/

Too bad they kind of glanced over the whole chess thing, though. Of course, explaining everything in detail would have taken away from the tension, but now all the moves and terminology just flew over my head.

Still don't like Five, but I do like her VA (if only they didn't give her that many English lines...). And we're already on episode 7, only four more to go.

Damn the intensity, music, and atmosphere, all crunched up into a great episode. Yeah five is freaking crazy by putting the bomb and exploding it near the airport. Shibazaki working with Nine gave me two thumps up for their cooperation, despite him getting trouble in the latter probably.

It was pretty obvious that Lisa was panicking in those camera's and she was spotted easily. Well at least she did okay and got saved afterwards, but still I don't if she is still useful for Nine and Twelve.

F*ck man Five got her ID, my god it is going to bad in the next 4 episodes.

She knows because she can see which part of the airport he moves to after receiving her move. Remember how the airport was divided into the squares of a chessboard on the monitor that Nine and Twelve first saw at the beginning of this episode (and the ending of the last)? That showed which parts corresponded with the different areas of the airport.

Im inclined to agree. Given where this show started and how little its made of its premise and cast and now the introduction of a seemingly unnecessary extra antagonist that just feels unnecessary this could very well end up being the disappointment of the season to me along with Akame Ga Kill.

Maybe it has something to do with the show having like 4 different writers or something.

Intense episode but i'm not sure about 5 character. I think the dynamic we had before was perfect, just leave 9/12 as the "villains," and use it as a way to explore motivations of antagonists and the things that drive people to extremes. I love a series where it's hard to hate the "bad guys."
