Its actually funny how Caesar x Ichihime was the most popular couple in just about every poll ive seen, considering the only meaningful interactions between them were in ep 14 until ep 21, i dont understand why too, before ep 14 i wanted Mitsu to get NTR-ed, but not because i liked caesar, but because i wanted to see Mitsu suffer But after ep 14, all of a sudden i shipped them OTP, though theres only 2 scenes between them in that ep, all of a sudden i was rooting for caesar and Mitsus suffering just became the icing on the cake I wonder if its just the choco cake scene that made me ship them all the way to ep 21, theres just something about the scene that warms my heart, i cant really explain it, but maybe its because we get to see 2 different sides of those 2 (caesars gentle side and Ichis girlish and cute side) and i wanted to see more of those... I read somewhere that in a chara description the ninja girl called hatsu has feelings for Mitsu (she is also the one who interacted with him the most) maybe he ended up with her, knowing Mitsu though, i can see him dying a virgin |

| So since i'm bored i will just go ahead and post the translated lyrics of the character songs here, I will give priorities to the romantic ones, obviously, i will translate Ichihimes song first , and ill translate the one for cow-tits later when i have the time, and caesar and himikos when they are released in a couple of days (I might make grammatical/pronoun errors though it shouldnt be that bad) So first off, i guess ill start with Ichihimes first song, which we now know to reflect her feelings shortly after her reunion with Mitsu in episode 18 Title is Name of Flower If i knew that it will not come true Could these feelings be scattered? You got to admit though, Caesar and Ichi entered their marriage in an awesome way. XD And the two individual charas are awesome in their own right (Ichi may not can fight, but she has a will of steel). LOL, what a turnaround. XD I'm kinda the opposite of that as Caesar became my fave in ep 2 (I knew he had the potential to be awesome and he was) and that was cemented in ep 5. And in ep 5 I shipped Caesar/Ichi. And somewhere along there Mitsu x suffering became something I enjoyed. XD That chocolate cake scene was the best scene ever! I haven't seen something so sweet, not even in shojo (well, they tend to have main guys who is a jerk to the girl). XD Yeah, seeing the 2 different sides was awesome. Caesar having more to him than a womanizing, conquering general and there was more to Ichi than the perfect princess. I really did too... I kinda saw in the series that Hatsu probably liked Mitsu as yeah, she interacted with him the most. Haha, yeah, Mitsu won't give her the time of day because he's too busy with his suffering. | I just found a website where you can read the manga http://comic-walker.com just make sure you click english on the language. The current chapter ends with Caesar scoping out Ichi LOL... The next chapter is supposed to be released tomorrow. Hopefully we get more Caesar x Ichi. |

Anyway Mitsu being a savior king doesnt mean a literal king d.. Nobu is destroyer king but its not like he ruled anything in the end, imo Mitsu just went and helped to rebuild a world that cant have wars anymore, its not like the east star will suddenly worship Mitsu , so heres hoping he actually suffered more while trying to build peace and died a virgin LOL For me Mitsu will always be an unsymphathetic chara, his personality is just so petty , bratty , and immature at times (lol ep 17), he will never have the same charisma/leadership disposition that guys like Nobu and Caesar has, in the end of the day it just so happens he was chosen to kill Nobu who self-sacrificed so war can be removed, he was always just a pawn in a bigger game |

I mean she said so herself she married Caesar strictly for the good of the Oda clan. She's always put others above her own needs. While in episode 21 she actually does a selfish thing and puts herself and her two kunoichi in danger by going to see Caesar. I don't think she was questioning her self worth though. I think she wanted to see for herself what has happened to her beloved husband LOL... I like how it king of goes with the song. She didn't hesitate to go see him even if it meant dying. |

| At the end of the day, it seems to me like the 2 of them just didnt care about anything else around them... Like caesar lost all his interest in dominion and ambitions after he met her, he just wants to make her happy, he couldnt care less about savior/destroyer king or about regalias really, and i think it was the same for her, they just wanted to be together like a normal couple Man, with Da vinci reincarnated in that museum too, i can totally imagine Ichi being reborn as Nobus sister too and is also an Idol Singer, while Caesar is the handsome delinquent? Well remember when she told Mitsu she wonts to be 'light that illuminate the darkness' , i dont think she was referring to Mitsu specifically, i think she always wanted to support the person important to her, and in ep 20 preview Caesar described her using a parallel language, as 'the lone light that illuminates the darkness of this world', and in ep 21 preview she also said ' i want to illuminate this path without hesitation' ... see what they did there The implications are clear, which is that Caesar was able to see her for what she wants to be seen as, even though he wasnt offered her support like Mitsu did, like i mentioned, they just were unexpectedly compatible this show is surprisingly deep sometimes , note that in all 3 cases they use the same kanji for illuminate (terasu) so the parallelism is even more clear if you can speak japanese |

| They really are compatible and just fit together. They're not the usual couple as while Caesar did like her at first sight it was her that he fell for. And yeah, Ichi fell for their former enemy. Yeah, only after a couple of days. LOL Indeed, they were really smitten with each other and affections sure develop quickly. Well, Caesar was someone who Ichi had never met before. I think being so different from the warriors of the east helped (with him baking that cake and putting her first). Indeed... She was understandably lonely. Yeah, Caesar was just what she was looking for, but didn't know it. XD Seriously, how could she not fall in love with him after he did all of that for her? Ichi definitely felt insecure in ep 21. Thank goodness it doesn't as Mitsu being the ruler seems wrong. Here's hoping too! LOL I feel the same about Mitsu (ep 17, while Caesar was win, Mitsu was a fail lol). No he will never have charisma and one can't be a ruler without it. Indeed, he was a pawn. And some savior king he was as he was tricked by Arthur. LOL Yeah, how ep 21 went with the song there was nice. I agree, at the end, Caesar and Ichi didn't care about anything else, but each other. Indeed, they just wanted to be with each other and that's all that mattred to them. Oh, yes! Ichi would totally be a popular singer! Caesar would probably come from a noble/very well off influential family, but yeah, is a handsome delinquent. XD Brutus would be his loyal right hand man/friend and he would have the twins hanging around him. LOL Oh, yeah, I see what they did with the light there with Ichi. Very clever. Yeah, Caesar saw and embraced Ichi for who she was and wanted to be while Mitsu turned away from her. They really were perfect for each other. Yeah, this show has it's moments, but other things are... LOL |

| Well, the new chapter of the manga was released today and it did offer some insights that weren't in the anime. The twins last name is Tepes and the woman in episode 24 was basically confirmed to be Guinevere. Caesar's definitely in stalker mode LOL... It does look like things are happening faster than the anime. Hopefully Caesar and Ichi become canon here too. Hmm, unfortunately its a once a month title uhh. I think Ichi did mean that light in the darkness for Mitsu. She was clearly upset when he said he didn't need the light LOL... but luckily for her there was a man in need of her light and she found him. I would have laughed if the last thing Caesar told Ichi was that she has his light in the darkness LOL Can you elaborate more about the illuminate (terasu) stuff? |

And Nell and Bianchis last name being Tepes was already known for a very long time, it was descriped in a megazine or one of the sites Ichi meant she wanted to support the person she cares about (No, she was not offering pity sex) who is clearly having problems (at the time it was Mitsu), Caesar does not even need her to be his light or support or whatever, but he saw her for who she is and saw her worth as a woman, hence his description of her as the light blabla, he just wants to protect her and make her happy, it doesnt matter what it costs, he doesnt even hope or expect her to return those feelings, he actually loved her selflessly without expecting anything in return What else do i need to elaborate? all 3 instances illuminate was used (Ichi to Mitsu, Caesar about Ichi and Ichi about Caesar) using the same kanji, it was just simple parallelism, that Ichi wanted to Illuminate Mitsu by comforting/supporting him, Caesar saw her as the solitary light that Illuminates the darkness, and Ichi finally said she wants to Illuminate this path (Caesar obviously) without hesitation, it was a reflection of how Mitsu who refused her support once and in the end Ichi in her final moments no longer cared about him and went to caesar instead despite Mitsu still being in love with her, its poetic justice Let me dumb it down further 1) Ichi: I want to be the light that illuminates the darkness (CMON ffs mitsu, lemme help ya) 2) Caesar: There is a solitary light that illuminates the darkness of this world (She is really amazing) 3) Ichi : I wish to Illuminate this path (Caesar) without hesitation (Bye2 Mitsu u had ur chance) |

He spots her the same way only she's not singing but talking to Nobukatsu. I like how he says it's his destiny to bring the regalias to Arthur but more importantly he's found something he wants LOL. He does seem to want to possess Ichi like in the start of the anime. |

| Yeah, I doubt the manga will be finished too. Hm, probably it's just me then. I've been having some trouble. Ah, I see, so only minor changes. Oh, I like that! Sounds so like Caesar. LOL I had no idea it was their last names, but I don't understand japanese and I didn't go to any forums till after ep 14. XD That's one thing I like about Caesar so much. He loves Ichi like he does and does not even expect anything in return. It's so selfless. Maybe because Nobu/Jeanne went crazy destruction mode in the last ep? XD |

I should have been more specific I meant to elaborate the kanji part. Do they have many ways to say illuminate? As for the manga it's my only Ichi x Caesar fix now so I hope they finish the story. I mean Aquarion Evol still has it's manga going if the wiki is to be believed and it's anime has been done for a while now. Of course Ichi still seems to have a death flag in this too :(... |

Caesar to me seems like a guy who was looking for his soulmate. You said a while back how you see their relationship as being about sex/romance while Mitsu's relationship with her is emotional support. I kind of feel this cheapens the relationship she has with Caesar and makes it seem like she only cares about him because of his pretty face LOL... | At first obviously he wanted her for her beauty, but i guess for all his womanizing he was always looking for his soulmate, and i think she was too, idk about the marriage thing, maybe he saw her in the tea party and just decided to go for it, but he only genuinely fell for her after he met her, before that it was probably Lust I never said it was ALL about sex/romance, but MAINLY their relationship is about that, obviously being romantically interested in someone isnt cheap, it also means you like and accept his personality enough to want to spend and live your life together with him, the point i was trying to make is that Caesar doesnt angst and rely on her and think of her all the time like Mitsu did (remember when he was escaping in the west star he was holding on to her comb and thinking of her), its just that Ichi and Mitsu knows each other longer and for some things, you would prefer to talk about it to someone like that (Even married couples has things they rather discuss with their friends instead of their partners) if they have a new series (which probably wont happen) about the new world after the epilogue, i can see Ichi being an idol singer and a top student and her meeting Caesar when he saves her from a stalker lol, and he would also be Nobus rival and a delinquent from Nobu and Ichis rival school |

| I still can't say how surprised I am that Caesar actually got Ichi to fall for him. I mean reading the manga today made me realise how much of a stalker caesar was in the beginning of the anime. I started following the series when it was already on ep 17 when it already looked like Caesar and Ichi had a definite chance of being canon. The funny thing is that I only got into the series when I saw a random forum post about how a space Julius Caesar NTRed someone in an anime called Nobunaga the fool LOL... I would so love a series based on modern time. Seriously instead of playing the opening halfway into the show they should have used those seconds for the epilogue. I like to have it been Jeanne, Caesar from the west star with their teacher Da Vinci on a field trip to a museum on the east star. In the museum they both see glimpses of Ichi and Nobu and that's how the epilogue ends. Like you said though the series really isn't popular to warrant a second season. In the museum they both see glimpses of Ichi and Nobu and that's how the epilogue ends. Like you said though the series really isn't popular to warrant a second season. I know your probably tired of me asking J LOL... but will you be able to translate for us some of the interesting Qs they answer... btw will you be sending some of your own Qs? http://www.nobunaga.tv/news/#news131 I always knew Caesar Ichi had a shot since ep 14, for one thing, Mitsu getting her back in the end is too cliche and predictable, and they even give us that sweet romantic soundtrack during the choco cake scene, and in the opening background with the 3 love triangle characters, there were white and red flowers (No Mitsu flowers) I knew after ep 14 that at the very least, Caesar would die tragically in her arms with her crying all over him So WTF happened in the last few hours that Nobu x Jeanne suddenly got a surge of 15 + votes? Caesar x Ichihime was No. 1 by far just a couple hours ago If you can link me the Questions and answers, i can xlate it, and i dont have plenty of questions to ask but here is some if someone wants to ask for me -Can you confirm that Mitsu died a virgin? -Can you confirm that Mitsu suffered more after the show ended? -If he did suffer more, can you elaborate (For example, did Saru NTRed the ninja girls away from him?) -Why didnt Mitsu suffer more during the show? -Why did Caesar and Ichi have so little screentime? |

| People have come out of the wood works it seems! XD The reason I started watching this anime is because Kazuki Yone did the original character design. XD And I started when only 1 ep was out. LOL I can so see that happening with Caesar & Ichi in a modern setting. LOL And in return for saving her he will request one date and make chocolate cake for her. XD That is so uncharacteristically poetic for Nobu. Seriously, where did that come from? Wow, yeah, he killed them all off. Man, it's dangerous to fall in love and have that love requited in this anime. XD Very sad? Oh great... That I did not want. Cry? Seriously? Oh, great. XD |

Well the song is released in itunes, but the lyrics will take awhile more -_- Anyway ive been reading japanese fanfics and its quite interesting, most of them involve caesar and Ichis married life, a couple of them had a plot involving Ichi sulking and getting jealous because caesar kept having 'secret meetings' with Kenshin, and she thought he was a woman LOL There is even already one with Ichi and Caesar reincarnating in a school live setting with Ichi being a university student |

| Well the fanfic with Kenshin was nice, basically caesar gets home from a meeting with kenshin late at night, but Ichi wasnt there, apparently she went back to owari without telling him, nell and bianchi taunted him about her going to see Mitsu, Caesar gets pissed and considers breaking the alliance and stuff, but the twins taunted him again saying he is in love with her now and wouldnt dare to make her sad, so caesar was actually angsting a little here Anyway switch to Ichis POV she was back in owari, feeding the fish in the pond, mitsu shows up, they talk a little and eventually Ichi reveals she was upset that he keeps meeting other women and coming back late, Mitsu seems to notice her feelings and tells her that 'you came here hoping he would pick you up, didnt you?' (Mitsu was actually quite nice in this fic) and he was obviously right, however, caesar came and saw the 2 of them and misunderstood, Ichi saw him leave and got sad but Mitsu told her to go after him Basically they both cleared their respective misunderstandings up and it was a happy end, quite a nice story, these japanese sure has imagination I cant believe so many people voting Nobu x Himiko, he doesnt even have any feelings for her despite all she did for him |

| That fanfic really sounds nice. I think the one thing I wanted to see most out of Ichi is her jelly side. She just seems to perfect sometimes LOL... Seriously I last checked a few hours ago and Nobu x Jeanne were at 20, now they are at 49! |

| Seeing Ichi's jelly side is definitely something I always wanted to see more of too. Caesar is clearly a popular guy with lwomen swooning over him. There was one where she kept refusing Caesars gifts and acted cold towards him, but it was because she didnt want to be treated as 'another one of his many women' and basically acting like a tsundere |
